Kai's POV

What the?

I found myself in the Hassaikai base, only I was on the floor. I stood up, and grimaced at the dust that littered my clothes.

'Disgusting. I need to clean these floors again.'

Glancing at the watch on my wrist, I checked the time.

6:30 a.m.

Realizing I was late starting work, I began to make my way towards Eri's room to get her ready for experiments. Once I got there I opened the door, only to see that the room absolutely vacant.

My eyebrows furrowed in confusion as it didn't seem like anyone stayed in this room at all. There was no blanket on the bed, not even sheets. The floors, where her cheap toys normally stayed, remained empty. I began to feel anger boiling inside of me.

'Where's Eri?'

I slammed her door shut before turning on my heels and went to go towards my angel's room. She's Eri's caretaker here, she should know where she is.

Once I got to her room I knocked on her door, waiting for her to answer. I felt confusion wash over me again as a few minutes passed by, and my lover never arrived at the door. Hesitantly turning the door knob, I pushed the door open. Peering inside, slight panic started to set in.

Her room is completely empty.

I immediately barged into the room, searching for ANY trace or sign of her. Her dresser was empty. Not even her over sized t-shirts were there, which is unusual because she sleeps in them nearly every night. Her phone was no where to be found either. None of her toiletries were in the bathroom. No toothbrush, no mouthwash, none of her (favorite color) fluffy loofahs, not even her soft, fuzzy bath robe. My hand grabbed tightly at my short, brown hair as it felt like the room was spinning.

'WHERE THE HELL IS SHE?!'

In a desperate attempt to find her, I bolted to my office in hopes that she would be there. Throwing the door open, I felt my heartbeat increase to an unhealthy rate.

She isn't here either.

She not at the desk making phone calls.  She's not responding to, or writing, various emails. She's not reading over the stacks of paperwork, only for us to look over them together. I gritted my teeth as I felt my chest heave up and down, hyperventilating.

'WHERE THE HELL IS MY ANGEL?!'

Hastily turning around, and making my out of the office, I slammed the door shut behind me. Pacing back and forth, I wracked my brain for any possible solution. My fist slammed into the wall next to me, resulting in a crack to be engraved into it. A frustrated growl left my lips.

I decided to, rather hastily, make my way towards the experiment room. There's absolutely no reason for her to be there, but it's worth checking. I will go to the ends of the Earth to find this woman, even if it kills me.

Once I got there, I immediately barged inside. As I stood in the door way, I froze. Confusion, anger, disbelief, and denial set in at once.

'... This... This isn't real. I-it CAN'T be real!! What is going on?!'

In the experiment chair, sat the very woman I was searching for. (Your Name) sat, strapped down in the chair. Those (eye color) eyes, that I've grown to love so much, no longer held the bright, cheerful glow that I witness every day. Her beautiful face no longer carried the usual joyful, caring, and radiant expression that rested upon her features.
