"You've got to stop taking her on missions with you. Nothing good ever happens when you do."

The large Eight Bullets member let out a deep growl of aggravation at the right-hand man's scolding, albeit him being right. Frustrated at the current predicament, Rappa grabbed the collar of Kurono's shirt and shook him violently.

"JUST HELP ME DAMN IT!"

~Earlier That Morning~

"Last time I went on a mission with you, I was turned into a baby. I'm not going anywhere with you anymore."

Saying nothing more, you swung your legs off of Kurono, who'd been watching the exchange between you and Rappa, and began making your way back to your room.

The floor rumbled at the large footsteps fiercely coming up behind you, an exhausted sigh pushed past your lips.

"Go. Away. Rappa."

Before you could take another step down the halls, large hands gripped your shoulders, hurling you around so hard it gave you whiplash.

"YOU HAVE TO GO WITH ME! YOU KNOW THE MISSION WON'T GET DONE IF I GO ALONE! WHAT THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?!"

Eyebrow twitching in irritation, you looked at him with disdain.

"Take Tengai with you, smart one. Kai paired you two together for a reason, he's bound to keep you down to earth so you don't fuck up anything." Throwing his hands off your shoulders, you pivoted on your heels to continue your journey down the hallway.

"COME ON" This time, the back of your shirt was caught in the large man's grasp, preventing you from making it further down the hall. "TENGAI IS OFF DOING SOMETHING ELSE FOR THE STUPID BOSS! YOU HAVE TO GO!"

"How is it that I'm always your go-to for this?" Your pointer and middle finger massaged your temples to nullify the faint headache approaching. "Take Kurono or something."

He growled. "EVERY TIME I TRY TO ASK, HE STICKS ME WITH ONE OF HIS STUPID ARROWS AND WALKS AWAY!"

"Maybe I should start asking if he'll do that for me." You mumbled to yourself, ignoring the cry of protest coming from Rappa.

"Look" he sighed, "It's nothing like that last mission. We don't have to meet face to face with anyone, so I can't start a fight."

Unfortunately, this grabbed your attention.

"Alright" you started slowly, "So, tell me. What's this mission all about?"

"The boss thinks this organization isn't paying up their end of the bargain with whatever deal they've got going on." Rappa finally released your shirt. "All we gotta do is look around there has to see if it's true."

Your eyebrows furrowed. "So we could potentially come in contact with people."

Rappa opened his mouth but closed it again. This action repeated several times before he hesitantly nodded. "Well...yeah."
