After eating, you both exited the office and started making your way to your room. Kai turned his attention towards you.

"Is there a specific place you wanted to go?"

"Mhm."

You nodded and opened the laptop you were carrying down the hallway. You opened the tab that Kurono had showed you a while ago and passed it over to Kai.

"Kurono said that the Hassaikai owns this cabin. Do you know where it is?"

Kai scrolled through the pictures and nodded.

"Yes. I remember it being used as a refuge a while ago, but it hasn't been used in a while since there aren't many Yakuza organizations left. Is this the place you want to go?"

At this point, you both made it back to your shared room. You nodded as you both entered your shared room and sat down on the soft materials of your blankets.

"Mhm. I've never been to a cabin before, but I heard they're really relaxing!"

A small smile appeared behind Kai's mask at your excitement. He looked over the pictures for a while. It actually didn't seem like a bad idea. It was off in a secluded area, the cabin itself had more than enough room for you both, and most importantly it's away from all the stress of the base. Amber eyes met your hopeful, (eye color) ones.

"Alright, we'll leave tomorrow. We'll have to pack toni-"

He was cut off by your arms wrapping around his neck, tackling him into a tight hug. Being caught off guard, he fell back on the bed. You peppered kisses all over his mask covered face before burrying your face in the crook of his neck, giggling as the fur of his jacket trickled your ears.

"Yes! Thank you thank you thank you!"

He was ecstatic that he was wearing a mask at the moment because the shade of red on his face could put a tomato to shame. It made his heart flutter to see you so happy, especially compared to how stressed you've been for the past few weeks. He wrapped his arm around your waist before planting a masked kiss on your forehead.

"Anything for you, angel dearest."

Placing one last kiss on his cheek, you got off of him and scrolled through all the pictures again. Your lover lifted an eyebrow in amusement as he watched you bounce in excitement.

"You get excited over the smallest things. You've honestly never been to a cabin before?"

A pout found it's way onto your lips as you puffed your cheeks.

"I think you forget I was broke before I met you."

Kai cleared his throat, and a faint, bashful blush dusted over his cheeks.

"My apologies."

You let out a quiet laugh and waved it off.

"It's fine."
