How You Wake Him Up:
It was one of those rare moments that you found yourself awake before Kai. Not having to wake up to the blaring sound if the alarm felt like heaven.
Your eyes fluttered open, blinking numerous times to adjust to the new lighting. You sat up and raised your arms above your head, various 'pops' sounding from your body as you stretched. A sigh of relief left you, feeling all of your muscles relaxe.
A quiet groan came from your left, your eyes travelled to the source of the new sound. You couldn't fight the smile that appeared on your face when you looked at your lover's peaceful features. His trademark stoic expression was replaced with one of tranquility and bliss. He rested on his stomach with his arms wrapped beneath his soft pillow.
You tossed the blankets off of you before resting on your knees. A small smile bestowed upon your features as you slowly began to crawl over to your sleeping lover. Now hovering over him, you let yourself discretely sit upon his lower back, careful not to wake him just yet.
Leaning forward, your chest pressed against his bare back, your hands resting on his shoulder blades. You brought your lips down to press light kisses on the side of his face, giggling softly as he began to stir. Lightly tracing patterns into his smooth skin, you trailed your lips up to his ear.
"Time to wake up, devil dearest."
Slowly, one of his eyes began to peel open, showing off his beautiful amber pools. A deep, raspy hum escaped from him, which you felt resonate from his back.
"...what on Earth are you doing, dove?"
You placed a feather like kiss between his shoulder blades, causing delightful shivers to run down his spine.
"I'm waking you up, silly. What does it look like I'm doing?"
Hiding his smile behind a groan, he turned his head to the side and let his eyes travel to meet yours.
"Mhm, is that not the job of an alarm clock, dear?"
You pouted and let out a small whine.
"You'd rather wake up to an alarm than me? You wound me with your words, devil dearest."
