(Your Name)'s POV

"I'm sorry sir, but Overhaul is busy doing other work at the moment. I'm sure he'll give you a call as soon as gets the chance."

"Seriously? I've been waiting all morning for him to call me back, and all you can tell me is he's busy."

A tick mark appeared on my head as I gritted my teeth in annoyance. Whoever the hell this guy is, obviously doesn't know what patience is. He's worse than Shigaraki!

This man has been going on about how he needs to speak with Kai. They're sorting through a deal that they had arranged some time ago, and apparently something has come up on his side of the deal. I'm not sure what's going on, but whatever it is I hope it gets resolved soon.

"Sir, I-"

"Wait a minute. You sound familiar."

I felt an unsettling shiver go down. The way his voice suddenly changed just didn't feel right. My eyebrows furrowed.

"I'm afraid I don't know what you mean, sir."

He let out a deep hum before going completely, and eerily, silent. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion as I nervously gulped.

"Um...if we're done, sir, I'm afraid I must be going. I have other work to attend too."

I waited for his response, but he didn't utter a single word. The only thing I could hear was his quiet breathing, and my heartbeat speeding up. Confusion, and a little bit of fear, set in.

'This is getting weird'

As I was about to hang up the phone, his deep voice rang through my ear again.

"Hold on. You're Overhaul's newest employee, correct? (Your Name)?"

My breath hitched as another gulp went down my throat. I nervously gripped the phone cord as I hesitated to respond.

'How...how does he know my name?'

"Y-yes...I am... How'd you know?"

I mentally cursed myself for stuttering, and for the amount of hesitation in my voice, but this is rather unsettling. I've never even spoken to this man before, so I'm not sure how he managed to get my name. A deep chuckle came from him, causing me to cringe.

"I remember seeing you at the Yakuza gathering that was held a while back. I never got to speak with you, unfortunately, but I certainly remember seeing you. You had a run in with my good friend, Tadao."

I couldn't resist the urge to roll my eyes at the mention of that idiot's name. I rose an eyebrow as I nervously twirled the phone chord around my fingers.

"I remember him, but who exactly are you?"

"He took quite the interest in you that night. It was understandable though. You are very eye-catching indeed, (Your Name). Had he not gone to you first that night, I would've done the same."

Irritation began to rise as he completely disregarded my question. I anxiously pursed my lips. Something about the way he said my name, left an unsettling pit in my stomach. He took my silence as an invitation to continue.

"Hehe Overhaul is one lucky man. Anyone would kill to have a woman like you by their side. He cares a lot about you too, but who could blame him? If you were mine, I wouldn't want anyone else touching a pretty little thing like you either. "
