Start: April 19, 2019 (Good Friday)
I woke up feeling really tired considering I did almost nothing besides staying in my room the entire weekend. Today is a totally different Monday from the other Mondays I have had. I wanted more time to sleep but I had to be up. I can't be late for my morning class. Mrs. Araneta surely won't hesitate to mark the papers of those who will come late on her test with big red zero. I can't let that happen to me especially now that I'm almost on my way to getting my own apartment and moving out. I don't want to disappoint the boss. So I hurried up to the shower then went down to have breakfast.
I greeted Mom and kissed her head. "Good morning anak." She turned to face me. "Oh anong nangyari sa'yo? Ano bang pinag-gagagawa mo at parang pagod ka yata?"
"Mukha kang adik. Magsuklay ka nga." My brother said, looking so annoyed. He can say whatever he wants. I'll try to ignore him today. That's because I still don't want to tell him about what happened on Mace's birthday.

"Where's Dad?" I changed the subject of the conversation. Mom said Dad's taking a week off of work so he's still asleep in their room. Good for him. When I finished breakfast, I went back to my room to wear my uniform and grab my things. Then I heard a vibrating sound on the bed. I searched over and saw it was Mace's phone. Fuck, Malcolm's calling. Should I cancel? No, dumbass. I was already in a hurry so I placed the phone over my study table and covered it with one of the books I was not bringing.
As we were walking to the car, Malcolm started whining. "Ang weird talaga. Mace is not answering my calls." But of course. No one's going to pick up because the phone is unfortunately in my room. Then it would be creepy if someone picks up.
"Baka naiwan niya sa bahay nila. You don't really have to think too much, Mac." I told my brother. I know I lied but was it just me or the wind really blew straight to my face after I said that?
"Why not? He hasn't even responded to my messages since the weekend." He still kept dialing. "When you arrived after your date with him sa birthday niya, hindi na siya nagreply sa akin. You told him to ignore me, didn't you? Tell me the truth Lance." He turned to me. I suddenly felt my hands shaking as I opened my car.
We both hopped in before I answered my brother. "And you think I would go that low just to have him for myself? Baka hindi lang talaga niya gustong makigpag-usap sa mga bata ngayon." He raised an eyebrow on me. I started the engine and drove.
After I dropped my brother off, traffic became extremely heavy on the way to the university. Seriously? You've got to be kidding me. I have an exam I can't miss. I was starting to become annoyed that I keep blowing my horn. It was frustrating. But luckily, I arrived in the room just before Mrs. Araneta could close the doors. Unbelievably, I was the last one to get in. Everyone's eyes were on me. I didn't know what happened but I was excessively sweating the entire time I was taking the test. It was odd considering we were inside an air-conditioned room.
