To say that after Ancient Runes that day, Finley saw how odd Hermione had became. She always popped out of nowhere when the professor was asking questions, though Hermione made advances in speaking to her she merely shook her head or ignored her. But the idea of Hermione popping out of nowhere was a little too suspicious when the next minute she would see the Gryffindor girl running up the steps farther from the previous classroom.

"Care for magical creatures, what joy?" Theo groaned as he had not dropped his Ancient Runes book.

"I don't think it's that bad, I heard Hagrid is quite good at his job," Finley said hooking her arm around Theo's.

Blaise rolled his eyes as he joined his friends, "Only you would say that."

"What? But he is," she said.

Walking on the path towards the woods, they arrived to where Hagrid had asked them to meet. There stood the Gryffindors and the Slytherins, clutching her robes around her she saw her lion friends staring at her as if they wanted to speak to her.

She literally can't, or else she'll be shipped to France without a doubt. She avoided eye contact from the three of them, she felt sorry that she was doing this to her friends. She was upset with Snape for putting her in this mess, she didn't want to be apart from them.

"Finley," Harry called out, instead of looking up she hid behind her two best friends who were puzzled at how she was acting.

"We need to talk," Harry said out of the blue.

"We have nothing to talk about," she said not looking his way. And in the pit of her stomach she was lying, she wanted to tell them, to talk to them again but she can't. She didn't want to transfer and it was turning into a big deal for her.

"Finley —"

"Didn't you hear her Potter? She doesn't want to talk to you," Malfoy interrupted.

"Stay out of it Malfoy."

She wanted to shut both boys up, she couldn't because the next thing was that Draco screamed dementor making her gasp in fear and started to get panicky as she searched for the terrifying horror, and with her luck Theo caught her in time. "Shut up Draco!" Theo yelled at the blond boy who was laughing without noticing other reactions.

"Scared of Dementors Potter?" Draco the smug twat that he way kept taunting Harry, not knowing that the Gryffindor wasn't the only one who was afraid of the dementor.

"Yes and clearly I'm not the only one," Harry growled as he glanced at Finley who was being comforted by her friends. No one knew she was approached by a Dementor, no one knew she had nightmares because of them. No one knew except Theo and Blaise who were with her that moment.

Draco turned around and saw the fear in her eyes and yet her face was too angry at him. "Evans I—"

"Don't," was all she could say as she walked ahead towards Hagrid who had just arrived with a Hippogriff in tow. The rest of the class was a blur, the monster book of monsters was friendly to her that she stroked its spine without any other instructions.

"Do it like Finley, stroking its spine clams em down."

"Now the hippogriffs are very proud creatures," Hagrid began.

The rest of the class followed, and by the end of the reading she found the hippogriff staring at her. She was drawn to him, without anyone else noticing she approached the animal.

"Anyone volunteering?"

The rest of the class drew back, but Finley was already walking up to the creature.
