She nursed them. She tried to nurse her best friends back to health, she did her best to have them all better by dawn, and in the process she was crying at the sight of her boys in pain. They all were in a painful discomfort, they haven't told her what happened, even if she tried, she was too out of it to use legilimency on them. She even tucked Pansy in her dorm properly, checking her every half hour to see if she was crying for the third time that evening. The girl's coping mechanism was too emotional that she asked Pansy's old room mates to ask Snape for some dreamless sleep draught potion.

"Are you alright now?" She asks her best friends as they were all sitting in their dorms, she could still see Theo wince as he nurses himself with his busted lip.

"A bottle of whiskey, we'll be sleeping soundly as a new born infant," Theo enthusiastically says, but beneath that tone was a brief emotion of him wanting to scream.

"What did she do?" She asked them. No one answered, they all fell silent that they tended to themselves. "Please, Blaise, tell me," she practically begged, she hated being the one clueless.

But to them, it was best that she didn't know.

"Go to bed Blythe," Blaise softly smiles at her, giving her a kiss on the fore head goodnight but not before telling her to go see Draco in his room once she leaves theirs. "I'll see you at Breakfast."

Pursing her lip, she pulls Blaise in to an embrace, holding back tears at how she hated seeing her friends hurt as this was the only time she saw them physically hurting. "You promise that you'll be alright?" She asks skeptically.

"Yes, we're fine," Theo tells her.

"Just knock on Pansy's dorm, Daphne has some vials of dreamless sleep draught," she informs them before walking towards the door, glancing back slight to see their smiling faces, though were bruised made it seem like they were okay. The weren't, and she knew that for a fact.

She left the boys dorm, instead of going to the girls dorms, she walked straight towards the prefect quarters, muttering the password and entering.

"Draco?" She calls inside. There she could see Draco staring blankly towards the wall, his system has shut down, the only movements that she could see was his breathing and his eyes blinking. His shirt a mess, his robes on the floor, the usually tidy room was in shambles that it looked like he went on a rampage. Picking up the mess on the floor, placing them on the desk, she eventually sat on the bed next to Draco, hearing his ragged breathing made it feel worst on her. She takes Draco's hand, feeling his cold sweat on them, he was scared.

She started humming, she hummed the song they danced to the first time in the room of requirements. She did so while intertwining her fingers with Draco's, hoping to give him comfort. She could feel weight lay on her shoulder, followed by a deep ragged breath. She hasn't stopped humming the soft tune.

Finley closed her eyes slowly, Draco's head's weight fell from her shoulder to her lap. Their hand still intertwined, she used her other hand to stroke his hair soothingly. She had plans to ask him what happened, but seeing as how he looked like he wanted to go home, she saw that it wasn't the right time to nag him about it.

Slowly, it came down, the ragged breathing turned into silent sobs, whatever they went through with Umbridge made him like this. She allowed him to feel so small tonight, she knew that he needed it, and she was glad to be there for him like how he was there for her in her lowest state.

Her fingers massaged his scalp, trying her best to make her presence for him comfortable, she continued humming the tune. And surely, tomorrow, hell was raining, but for now, Umbridge can wait, Draco needed her.
