"You better mean that because I have calculus homework again." I tell him.
"Sorted, Vic's good at calculus, I'll get him to come and help." I nod, Vic, as in Vic Fuentes?! Ahh! Justin texts him and then we all get in the car. "Coming too Lili?" Justin asks.
"Come on!" I plead and bat my eyelids. Why didnt't I do that to my mom? Would've worked, but she's got her mind set on this stupid deal. She nods and jumps in the back of the car with me. "Can you believe it?" I ask her quietly. "You're in a car with like half of your favourite band."
"I know!" She exclaims, but still in a whisper voice. This has definitely made Lili's day. She needed this, if it was Nat she'd be all over Kellin, why Kellin? Because she knows that Justin and I have something going on.
"What's all the gossip about?" Kellin asks.
"Nothing to do with you," I tease. "Just turn around." I half turn his head back towards the front and he takes the hint. I run a brush through my long hair and tie it back in a high pony tail. It's warm today, and I'm used to warm.
"Here." Lili helps me pull my fringe down.
{ AN// Sorry for confusing you, I use fringe because it's British, bangs is the American version. }

"Who needs help with calculus then?" Vic smiles, looking at Lili and I.
"Not Lili, she's a genius when it comes to it. It's me." I raise my hand.
"Cool, let's go then. This place is crowded, we can go to my bus if you want."
"Sure." I pick up my bag, he takes my hand and leads of this bus. I blush and look towards Justin. He rolls his eyes and sits on the couch.
We get onto his bus and I'm attacked by his band members. "Hello!" Tony smiles. I blush, Tony is by far my favourite.
"Hi." I blush even more and cover my eyes with my hands out of embarrassment. "Sorry, I just... I'm a fan and I love you so much..."
"Aw, it's okay. It's nice to meet you, I'm Tony. Are you Mason?" I nod. He knows my name. Tony is my favourite because he's funny, has a great personality and he's quite attractive in his own little way. "Well, come here then." Tony pulls me into a hug. I blush even more. I just hugged Tony Perry. I have a picture with all of them and blush again.
"Now let's get to it then, Calculus, we're gonna beat your ass!" Vic shouts. We sit on the couch in the back lounge and I pull out my books.

"If you didn't have a wonderful voice, you could have been a calculus teacher my friend, my teachers suck. I feel smart now."
"You're welcome, but I have heard non stop about you embarrassing Justin at that bar he went to?" Vic raises his eyebrow, telling me to fill him in.
"You like gossip, you know that right?" He nods. I explain it to him.
"Well, damn. That's how you do it! And singing that song is a challenge, Tay can barely do it without warm up after warm up."
Wow. That's strange. Oh well. I lie back and sigh.
I wonder how Lili's coping with Justin's band, if she's fainted, I'm not surprised.
"Just thank you." I hug him.
"For what? It's just calculus, piece of cake." He shrugs.
"For more than that, you're an inspiration. You've helped me." I say in a quiet voice. It's so embarrassing to admit it.
"No, you helped yourself Mason. You're the inspiration, you're a teenager. It's okay to be insecure. Music just gave you a little nudge in the right direction." I pull away from the hug but lean my head on his shoulder, thinking. He just laughs. "I think we could be great friends, Mason."
"Me too." I laugh. My thoughts cloud up again as I start to think of it all, the beginning of when I got 'sad' when my dad died. It was horrible. My mom wasn't the same woman as she was before, she was distant and off. I was almost put in care because she just forgot about caring for us, luckily Oliver was there. We would've been screwed otherwise.
"You've got Justin anyways, he's always cheered everyone up. But in the meantime, don't get sad again." He hugs me quickly.

It sounds strange but I just spent at least an hour just talking to all of Pierce The Veil and I got to know them a bit more.
There's a knock on the door, Jaime runs to get it.
A short, beautiful girl walks on, with soft wavy hair, a kind face and quite a curvy figure. Vic's face lights up when he sees her and I sit up from lying down. I'm too lazy.
"Baby." He whispers and runs to her, pulling her into a big hug. I recognise her, this is Mae, his girlfriend. "I missed you." He tells her.
"Me too, but can I breathe?" She's funny.
"I'll be going then guys, before Justin sends a search party. It was nice meeting you all, properly this time, not at the beach. Thanks for the help Vic."
"Anytime." He smiles and adds a wink, but turns back to Mae, passionately kissing her.
I grab my bag and go back towards Justin's bus. He leaning against it casually smoking. "You're killing yourself smoking whatever that is." I tell him and take it out of his hand, flicking it on the floor and stamping the ashes out. He shakes his head.
"That was mean." I shrug and go back onto his bus, to find Lili talking to Kellin. She stands up and hugs me, kind of refusing to let go. It's nice to have her hug me, not that she doesn't anyway, but in front of her favourite band is something else. She's not a two faced person, not selfish at all. "That was for sticking by me Mas, and being a good friend. Kellin made me realise it." Of course I'd stand by her, she's like a sister.
My phone rings.
"Hello."
"Mason, where are you? Your brother is here!" Mom says excitedly.
"Oli is here!" I squeak. "I'll be there soon!"
"Good, they miss you."
"They?"
"His friend Eric too." She hangs up.
They're all looking at me. "Eric and Oli are here!" I squeak. A huge smile is spread across my face. Lili's mouth hangs open.
"I know Oli is your brother, but who's Eric?" Justin asks.
"Eric, Uhm, Eric is her brothers best friend." No way was I admitting my big tough brother was gay, my mom doesn't even know. Lili knows, he only told us because Lili is like his sister too. My mom doesn't even know Eric and Oli are dating, that's how good they are. I have a feeling this visit is to tell her though. "I haven't seen them both in forever! Justin can you take me home?" He nods sighing and grabs the keys.

Great. Mason is asking me to take her home so she can see her brother and this Eric, her brothers best friend. Her eyes lit up even more at his name. Why am I taking her home? So she can kiss this guy behind my back?
I pull into her driveway and she gets out. "Wait there." She tells me. I roll my eyes as she runs inside to talk to someone.
Why is she asking me to wait? So she can kiss Eric hello, invite me inside and then play dumb, saying we're something? He'll no am I standing for that, she doesn't go much inside, so I'm guessing she hasn't said hello to Oli and Eric yet, or she would've been longer.
She runs back out and I roll my window down. "Come inside." She smiles.
"What?"
"Come inside, silly." She opens my car door.
"So I can see you get all cozy with Eric?"
"First of all, they're not here yet. They're at the store. And second of all, Eric is my brothers boyfriend." She crosses her arms. "How dare you assume there was something between Eric and I! Funny how I thought you were different, but you're just like any other guy. Aren't you? Selfish and possessive!"
"Mas, I'm sorry. Don't leave me." I sigh.
"We aren't even together, you don't have the right to say that."
"You're such a challenge Mason." I get out of the car and kiss her. She wraps her arms around my neck. This is what I want, I'm sure of it. "Fine then, Mason Giovanna Staplynn, is it okay to say I love you? Be my girlfriend?"
"Yes!" She smiles and kisses me again. Someone clears their throat behind her, she smiles even more.
"What have we here, Mason?"
