Justin is going home in 4 days, it's just hit me. I've just remembered. It's gonna be quiet without him.
"Mason, get up for school!" Mom yells from downstairs.
"I'm up!" I yell back. It's all she ever seems to do, yell at me. I'm sure she's busy at work and stress is getting to her, there's of course the chance that she just likes yelling at me. She never seems to yell at Hayden. Not exactly fair.
I throw on a short sleeved dark blue shirt, that's really long, and some yoga pants that go to my knees. It's Tuesday, I teach kids today, it goes towards my marks so I can graduate. And I definitely want to. I'm sick of school now.
And... I'm going to spend the summer with Justin in Florida!
I need to graduate.
I slip into some dark blue vans, grab my backpack, along with my oversized cardigan and run downstairs.
"Ooh! Mom! Justin told me that I could go to his place in the summer!"
"Where is his place?" She asks, stirring her coffee.
"Florida."
"Florida?! Mason, you've never been outside of Cali, you want your first time out of Cali to be with a guy?"
"Mom, I'm 19, I'm sensible, you know that."
"We'll see Mason." She says. No way am I leaving it at just that!
"Mom! That obviously means no then!"
"I'll make you a deal Mason, you've been in summer school for the last four years. If you graduate, pass all of your exams and don't have to go to summer school, you can go to Florida with Justin." She says, keeping her cool. I, being the stubborn bitch I am, decide to ignore her. She can't let me not go.
The woman was on about finding love and being happy with the guy! Now she's telling me I can't go on a vacation to his place? That's dumb. I thought she'd be bothered about me just being friends with him, I'm 19, he's 23. That's like illegal to my mom. She needs to set her mind on one decision, not change it every time I ask her. It gets annoying. And she moans about me for doing that?

"Wassup Ladies?" I say and sit down at our table with my lunch, they're already eating and throwing food at some asshole. Well, Lili is. "Lili, what have I said about throwing anything at anyone. It's naughty."
"Ha. Ha." Lili rolls her eyes. "He was being an idiot!"
"He was trying to ask you out!" Nat exclaims.
"Well, I didn't want him to!" Lili shouts at Nat. I'm silent and just start eating my sandwich. They get into an argument over it, which eventually leads to Nat telling Lili that I like her more. "Nat!" I exclaim.
"What?! It's probably true!"
"I love you both the same, you're my best friends. Don't argue over this please, I've known Lili longer but that doesn't matter." I say calmly, laying my sandwich down on the paper it was wrapped in. Nat rolls her eyes and picks up her things. "I'll see you in History then." She scowls and storms off.

Nat is sat over the other side of the class alone and I feel so bad, but I've got to stick up for Lili. I've known her too long. It's really hard for me and I can tell Lili doesn't want to be arguing. Once Nat has started something, she won't back down even if the other person has. I'm just hoping it'll be over by tomorrow.
How could she say such a thing?! That I like her more than Lili?! I've known Lili longer, so I'll always have something there, but Nat has once been our friend for maybe three years? I've known Lili my whole life, I'm not going to admit it to Nat's face, but Lili will mean that little something more.
"Miss Staplynn?" Mr Jarvis asks. "Do you know the answer?"
"Abraham Lincoln." I say with a smug smile and he turns back to the board. Someone wasn't expecting me to know the answer. This guy hates me because I've been failing history for ages, and math too, that's the reason why I'm in summer school and it sucks. I've definitely got to pass this year or I can't go to Florida, and I need to go to Florida. I just need to. I want my first time out of Cali to be with Justin, he promised it would be too.
Justin: Heya beautiful ;)
Me: Justin, I'm in class!
Justin: b-but I want to talk to youuu!
Me: My class is over in ten minutes, I don't doubt that you'll be outside again, meet me there x
Justin: Fineeeee. But I get a kiss, right?
I laugh quietly as Nat strolls past me. "Mr Jarvis, Mason is on her phone!" She calls.
"Nat!" I yell.
"Mason, you know the rules in class, phone. I shall have to read the messages for the whole class." Mr Jarvis takes my phone and starts to read. "Who is this Justin?"
"Someone who you won't know, now please can I have my phone back? It won't happen again."
"It better not." He slams the phone on the desk, it could've broke it. Asshole. Thank god he's a supply, my actual teacher Miss Holloway is the nicest person ever.

Me: Heya beautiful ;)
Mason: Justin, I'm in class!
Me: B-but I want to talk to youuu!
Mason: My class is over in ten minutes, I don't doubt that you'll be outside again, meet my there x
Me: Fineeeee. But I get a kiss, right?
She doesn't reply, and she's right. I'm sat on the hood of my car again, Kellin is next to me, humming quietly.
"Where is she?" He asks, getting impatient.
"I bet as soon as the bell rings, she'll be the first one out of those doors with one of her friends." Kellin raises his eyebrow. "Probably Lili." I add. He shakes his head as the bell rings. Sure enough, Mason runs out of the doors, sliding down the railings and runs towards me. Lili is close behind her, but walking slowly.
"Come on Lili!" Mason laughs, tugging on her arm. Lili stumbles over to us and Mason wraps her arms around her. "It'll be okay, I won't leave you, you're my best friend!" She squeals down her ear, causing her to crack a smile. Mas pulls away and hugs me too.
"How was school?" I tease.
"Well... I did some lessons, uhm, ate some food and Nat started an argument on Lili, that's why she's down." It makes sense now, that's why Lili's down. "Hey Kellin is it?" Kellin nods.
"Hey Mason, hey Lili." He smiles.
Mason pulls me off the hood of my car and kisses me. I'm used to it by now and I quite like it. "Mas, public place." I whisper. She rolls her eyes. "What did your mom say about Florida?" I ask.
"Well.... I have to pass all of my exams, graduate and not have to go to summer school, then I can go to Florida. It sucks. As soon as you leave, I have to work hard to pass these few classes." That just sucks. Mason is 19, so she should be able to do what she wants. I'm sure she's on track to graduate so there's no need to worry.
"I'm sure I can help you study."
"Okay." She laughs. I wrap my arms around her neck and pull her close. "You better mean that because I have calculus homework again."

Sorry for not updating and sorry for this chapter being sucky-ish.
My internet was playing up and I've been away and Ughh. I'm too busy writing my last bonus chapter for backseat serenade and I won't be updating until maybe the 26th or the 27th, if it's sooner, then good for you guys!
