Song: If I'm James Dean, You're Audrey Hepburn ~ Sleeping With Sirens {Wtf, excuse the Spanish lyrics, it's the only one that would load.}

"Where are you gonna go, Mas?" Justin asks. I don't expect him to invite me back, I'm sure it's inconvenient.
"I'll book a cheap hotel room or something." I shrug and close my front door, starting to walk up the gravel path.
"Where do you think you're going?" He laughs. I stop, turn and raise my eyebrow. "Come back with me?" He suggests, dangling the car keys from his fingertips. "Stay for tonight?" He asks.
{AN// Please tell me you get the song lyric.}
"You're persuasive." I smirk and go back on my path, round to the passengers side of the car. Justin smirks too and gets in the drivers seat.
He rests his hand on my leg while driving, I get a sick feeling. But in a good way, like butterflies. What does he do to me?
"Shit. Did we leave Lili with the guys?" I ask, laughing in shock.
"I think so." Justin laughs too, then speeds up a bit. "That was irresponsible of you, Mason." He teases.
*
"Why is the bus so crowdeddd?" Justin whines. He's right. It's full.
His band. Pierce the veil. Of mice & men.
Of Mice & Men?! AHHHHH!
I smile and reach for my necklace. I forgot that Aaron threw me one of his picks, and I've got it on a chain. I feel so embarrassed right now.
"Erm, hi." I smile at Vic, his girlfriend smiles to me, then gets up to sit next to Austin. I forgot they were good friends.
Lili is in the corner, sat on her phone. "Miss Anti-Social?" She looks up and smiles. I put my bag down under a table and stand awkwardly, messing with my necklace. Justin asks what it is, I blush and look towards Aaron. "Mas, you've barely spoken, what's wrong?" Kellin laughs. I open my mouth, but no sound comes out, so I'm just moving my lips. In the end, I sigh and give up trying to explain.
What's wrong? My all time favourite band, Of Mice & Men, are sat right in front of me.
"Is that so?" Mae laughs.
"Damn. Did I say that out loud?" I ask. Mae laughs and nods. Lili is silently laughing in the corner. I roll my eyes. "Sorry. Oh my god. It's just, ugh and ahh. I need to stop rambling." Austin laughs. My eyes widen.
"Don't faint there, sweetheart." Austin winks.
"Don't ever tell me that, if you just did that." I hold my hand in the air. Justin stands up and takes me off guard ass he checks my necklace.
"Ahh." He smiles. "She has a guitar pick, I'm assuming it's Aaron's. That's what she's hiding."
"She's gonna kill you for that." Lili mumbles from in the corner, looking up from her phone briefly, but then continuing her scrolling. That would so be me if there was enough room for me to sit.
"That's awesome, it's great to meet you." Aaron smiles.
"Yeah, don't get too flattered, doll. He's not that great." Mae smiles. She seems really nice, I can see why Vic likes her. "Take it from me, I spent a week on a bus with the guy. Kept stealing my damn Cheerios. I thought you were meant to be going home."
"About that... Uhm, I'm just gonna say I argued with my mom, she was pretty harsh. Blamed me for things, so I said I'm staying elsewhere tonight. Justin said I could stay here." I say quietly and play with the necklace chain again. Justin moves over and let's me sit down, thank god, I might've fell from all the nervousness. Not joking.
Lili: Remember the road trip to San Diego we were planning?
Why is she texting me now? She's in the same room.
Me: Yeah, why?
Lili: Can we please go? You said so, after grad, just get in the car and go. Drive and spend the night there?
Me: Sure! Sounds awesome! I'm driving, you suck. :p
I smile and lay my head into Justin's shoulder. We said we'd always just get out of Cali the day of graduation, as soon as it was over we'd just drive down to San Diego for the day. It's nice to do something with your best friend, we planned to go with Nat too. But I think it's just us.
I look on the internet and scroll through pictures of San Diego. "Lili, when we go to San Diego, we have to at least go to one beach." I say and hand her my phone so she can look at a picture.
"Definitely." She nods. "Just another month until Grad." I smile.
"Wait, you guys haven't graduated yet?" Tony asks, I smile and shake my head.
"How old are you then?" Vic chimes in. He knew that I haven't graduated yet, he helped me with homework.
"19, the only reason why Justin is even allowed to be around me."
"Meh, would've anyway." Justin shrugs. I bite my lip to stop myself from laughing. At least he's honest, and funny too.
"Hold up, Tony. Why would she have been on the bus?" Vic asks. We all burst out laughing, even Mae does. He's got her, he wouldn't go for me anyway. I have Justin too, it's less awkward because I'm not a fan and I don't obsess over the band.
I carry on looking through pictures of San Diego. I would've moved here, I don't know about now. A certain someone has come and changed everything.
Justin looks over my shoulder. "That's what you've been looking at, thought you were getting bored of me already. You want to go to San Diego?"
"Yes, ages ago I made a promise to Lili we'd go together as soon as Graduation was over."
"Woo! San Diego!" Mike cheers.
"Yes Mike, we know you live there." Mae says sarcastically. I definitely see why Vic likes her now.
And that makes me ask why is Justin wasting his time with me? I'm still a technically a teenager, that's only my age, but still.

Everyone has gone, it's quiet.
Lili has gone, by gone I mean gone to sleep on the couch in the back lounge. I'll sleep in there with her.
"Night Justin." I smile and kiss his cheek, heading to the back lounge. He smiles back.
I change into a baseball shirt and pyjama shorts, my normal, and sigh. No blankets, I'm pretty sure Lili took the last one. No way is she gonna share now, she's asleep. Wake her up - I'll be sorry.
Looks like I'll have to go and ask. "Kellin?" I ask, he looks up from his phone and pulls the curtain in his bunk back more.
"Are there anymore blankets? Lili has like 2, if I take them off her, she'll kill me."
"2?" He laughs and shakes his head. "Here, I have a spare one." He takes one from the bottom of his bunk and hands it to me.
"Thanks Kellin, I don't want to freeze my ass off." I give him a quick hug and go to the back lounge, again.
"Your nice ass." Someone murmurs. Justin. Only him. I shake my head and lie down.
Lili snores lightly and I laugh, she's always snored a little, from my earliest memories of when she used to sleep at my house. Then Nat joined in, but it was always just us. I still can't believe Nat.
Speak of the devil.
Nat: I'm sorry.
Me: Nat, it's not me you should be saying sorry to, it's Lili.
Nat: Don't make me.
Me: Goodbye, Nat. I've had enough of your games.
I smirk and switch off my phone.
She knows she's messed up, I'm not gonna forgive her. That's twice in less than a week now.
"Lili," I whisper. She makes a funny sound so I know she's awake. "We don't have to worry about Nat anymore, it's just us again. She can be a bitch all the wants." It takes a while for her to process what I've said, but she laughs quietly, then goes back to sleep.
I sit on the dark, playing some addictive game on my phone, quietly cheering if I beat my high score, and quietly cussing if I lose.
"Why are you still awake?" Justin groans.
"I can't sleep. Why weren't you still awake?" I ask and put my phone down.
"Because I'm human, and I like sleep. You need the rest, Mas. Come on." I roll my eyes. He comes closer and whispers, "Go to fucking sleep please." I laugh and kiss below his ear, catching him off guard. It always makes him blush, I can practically see him blushing in the darkness, I can imagine it anyway.
He leans down and kisses me. "I'm tired now." I say, shaking my head from side to side. Sighing, he kisses me once more.
"Good, sleep well, Mas."
