Seraphina worked on her essay for History of Magic, doing her best to focus, even though she had a certain Weasley making jokes all the time by her side.

"Just one more," he begged cleaning his eyes from the tears he got from laughing so much at Slytherin and snakes jokes, "What does a witch say to her crying snake pet?" He didn't even wait for her answer and was already laughing without completing the joke, "Stop crying and viper your nose!" He pumped his fists in the table laughing hard.

Seraphina shook her head at this stupid joke and couldn't help but laugh because of his very amusing laughter, "Merlin, that was awful," she said still laughing.

"Weasley, shut it!" The librarian warned him, but just he ignored her, cleaning his eyes again and trying to calm his breath due to his intense moment filled with laughter.

The Slytherin and the Hufflepuff were currently 'studying' in the library after supper since none of them had evening classes and agreed together in the library. However, they couldn't focus on their books as George couldn't stop making stupid jokes.

Surprisingly, Seraphina felt pretty comfortable around the guy, being relieved for not having to behave like an uptight person, she could just relax and enjoy the moment. It was extremely rare for the witch to have fun, so that explained why she laughed more that evening than in many years of her life.

After leaving Tom to meet George after lunch, the girl decided to tell him that she had no romantic intentions with him, just to clear things up a bit. The Hufflepuff boy was a little disappointed, but accepted it pretty well, settling as friends.

Then he accompanied her to her class and she sat beside Tom, who didn't send her a single glance the whole class. What angered her the most was that he stormed out of the classroom without waiting for her. Usually, he doesn't wait for her either, he just gathers his things slowly so she can accompany his rhythm. But this time, he collected his materials pretty fast and left the classroom without looking back, leaving her with a frown.

She didn't see him either during dinner, making her seat with his followers without saying a word the whole dinner. This wasn't a usual behavior from neither of them, but nobody commented on it.

After dinner, she rushed to the library, so she could finally meet her friend George, who did a great job cheering her up.

"Do you like quidditch, Seraphina?" George asked her when they had calmed a little and she raised her head from her book to look at him.

She shrugged, "It never grew on me. I don't know why but I've never been really interested."

Honestly, she had only seen one game of quidditch and she never watched one again, "You keep disappointing me," George placed his hand on his chest and pretended to be extremely hurt.

"Do you play?" She asked him curiously and the light brown haired girl could already imagine him flying excitedly around the field. It suited him.

"But of course, I happen to be one of the Beaters of Hufflepuff and the best of all players Hogwarts has ever seen," He bragged, making the girl chuckle amused, "I'm actually offended you didn't know I'm a Quidditch player."

She shrugged, "As I've said I never really spent much time thinking about Quidditch, but maybe I'll give it a chance."

George grinned when he heard what Seraphina said, "Yeah, that's a good decision. Do you know what else you could do? You could meet my friends and spend more time with us. It's a little weird someone so nice is in Slytherin and keeps hanging out with that mean group of snobs."
