"I'm truly delighted to find you in London," Joshua offered his arm to Seraphina as they left the small library together, "It is been absolutely dreadful to have nothing to do while I'm supposed to stay here for another couple weeks."
"I am happy to find you here as well," she said with a smile, feeling the sun hit her face as soon as she stepped out of the library, "London is a beautiful city, but unfortunately I won't be a good guide to you, since I've only been here for a short period of time."
"You're not from here? I would have never guessed it," he raised his eyebrows and placed his hat on top of his curls, "You have the most lovely accent, Seraphina Vevrain."
She chuckled, "Well, thank you, Joshua Alderton. I'm not used to hearing Americans talk, but I do know your accent is very charming as well."
"You should visit the States one day," he told her as she looked around her to see observe the busy streets of London attentively.
Seraphina smiled at him, "Maybe I will one day. So, what brings you to London, Mr. Alderton?"
"We talked about this before, Seraphina. Call me Joshua, please, or else it seems like you're speaking to my father," he scoffed and she turned her head to him, curious with the mention of his father, "I came here for business to answer your question."
"Business?"
"It's not interesting and it's not my wish to bore you," he smiled and she noticed the dimples on his cheeks, "Now where do you want to eat? Do you know any nice restaurants around here?"
"I told you I'm also new here, Joshua, so I'm trusting you with finding the best restaurant in London."
He shook his head, but couldn't help but smile, "You are putting your faith in the wrong guy, Seraphina, but I'm a gentleman, so I will find you the best restaurant in London.

"I don't want to sound rude, but I need to ask you something," Seraphina farrowed her eyebrows as she took the fork to her mouth, "Something about Tom Riddle."
Oh no.
"I'm not sure if I can help you, but what were you wondering?" She asked after swallowing the small potato. Nothing good could come after asking her something about Tom. His tone of voice was more than suspicious, but she still acted unfazed.
Looking at his plate, he finally asked her what he had on his mind since the moment he talked to her in the ball, "The first time we spoke, I was informed you were Riddle's... partner?" He suddenly looked uncomfortable with the matter, "It was said you two were romantically involved. Now, I disagree with the boy on many aspects and I don't understand how you two can be related when you're so different. But my main question is if it is ethically correct to be here with me when you are committed?"
Seraphina immediately embraced her spectacular skill to lie and answered in a second, "We are very different indeed, our perspectives of the world are completely opposite as you may have noticed. But we grew up together, because somehow my parents are very attached to him," she still spoke calmly, "And people always saw us together wherever we went, which explains why everyone thinks we are a couple. I think it's offending if you ask me."
Joshua tried not to look pleased, but he couldn't help it, "So you are not a part of the little group he has?"
Seraphina shook her head, "No, I'm not. They keep everything a secret from me," she lied again, "What do you know about them? I thought they were very secretive about their business and goals."
