To say Taeyong was merely happy after making up with Jaehyun was an understatement.

When he had taken Jaehyun over to a quiet corner to talk briefly, he had simply apologised for his uptight behaviour towards him. Taeyong didn't know if his eyes were deceiving him but he was sure he saw Jaehyun's body visibly relax and all the tension they had accumulated fizzled out. He smiled warmly at the thought. But that was a few days ago.

Now, he was sprawled out on his bed with his books scattered in front of him, an elbow propped up and a chin on his hand as he stared off into space with a dreamy expression. Jaehyun was pensive as he watched the younger boy slack off and he frowned. He was supposed to be doing his work.

"Sir," Jaehyun had called out to him sternly causing Taeyong's body to jerk from shock.

"Jaehyun, what the hell! Don't scare me like that," Taeyong turned around to him, holding a hand to his chest dramatically. Jaehyun coughed sheepishly, perhaps he should've taken a better approach.

"I can't seem to concentrate," Taeyong sighed.

I can't seem to concentrate because of you.

Jaehyun didn't know what to tell him, he had never had this problem when he had gone to school. When he focused that was just it, nothing else mattered.

An idea suddenly sprung into Taeyong's mind and he looked at Jaehyun with a coy smile, walking over with his things to his study desk. The man pursed his lips into a thin line, he knew that look well, it was the look Taeyong had whenever he tried to sneak out of Jaehyun's sight or was overall just up to something he knew shouldn't have been doing in the first place.

"Jaehyun," he whined at him, rolling his head around hoping that he'd get the hint. When Taeyong saw that he provoked no reaction, he continued with another groan.

"I want you."

Jaehyun felt his breath hitch sharply. His clasped palms turned clammy as his mind ventured towards thoughts of the boy's insinuation. Had he heard him right?

"-To teach me," Taeyong added on, chuckling at just how flustered the man was getting. Jaehyun let out a low breath, of course that was what he meant. He scolded himself and pulled his mind of the dangerous waters it had dipped in.

Taeyong made a hand gesture urging him to come over and Jaehyun took almost hesitant steps forward. He didn't know what he was so afraid of, it wasn't like anything was actually going to happen. He would just show him a few equations and go back to his usual spot.

Yeah, that's what I'll do.

Jaehyun sat at the opposite end of the table, his body stiff at the way Taeyong was smiling at him.

"What is it that you need help with?" He said with a gruff, dominant voice. It came out harsher than intended but he needed to establish some sort of boundaries. Taeyong suppressed the urge to roll his eyes.

Psh, men.

"I don't know how to do any of these maths problems" he pointed at some scribbly writing, "I sorta started them but well..." He trickled off, scratching his nape, his skin painting red.

He slid his written work over to the other end of the table where Jaehyun sat and played with his fingers, not daring to look up and see the look of disappointment in Jaehyun's eyes. Jaehyun, though, looked at the work in skeptical surprise. It was really easy, he was genuinely shocked that Taeyong couldn't get this.

"I know what you're thinking and I'm not stupid," Taeyong huffed, looking up. "Maths just isn't my strong point."

The man nodded to placate him. Taeyong watched as Jaehyun grabbed his pen and began writing to the side of his work. His handwriting was neat, Taeyong noted, neat, curved, precise. Very Jaehyun-esque, he thought. And Jaehyun, feeling the boy's gaze on him, looked up blankly. They held eye contact for a moment before Taeyong looked away with a blush.
