Taeyong stood up awkwardly and brushed the feeling of the large man's hands off. Mr Park was staring at him with his usual smile that made the boy's skin crawl and his bodyguard's were looking at him with icy eyes. Taeyong gulped.

"I just wanted..." his eyes darted around the room, "To get my boxing gloves!" He said spotting them in the corner, the pitch of his voice rising an octave higher than what would have been considered the norm.

"Jae- My bodyguard's been training me," he laughed forcefully. He and Jaehyun didn't actually use any boxing gloves when they trained, but Taeyong had bought them in the spur of the moment excitement after asking Jaehyun to train him. When they arrived, he had left them in the storage room to collect dust.

Taeyong almost sighed in relief, he thanked God that one of his random, usually useless, impulse buys, had saved him.

The three men looked over to the corner briefly and Mr Park nodded. "Well, we were going to meet your father. I guess with my old age I can't seem to remember directions," the man chuckled and rubbed his hands together.

Taeyong strained a laugh along with him and Mr Park smiled again showing his slightly yellowed teeth before exiting with his men towards the direction of his father's office. Taeyong peered at them as they walked in.

When they disappeared he let out a heavy breath of relief. He didn't even notice how tense his body became until they left. Something about those men rubbed him the wrong way and caused him to shiver.

Taeyong shook his head before exiting the room. Perhaps he'd stay for training with Jaehyun despite how awkward it may be. Anything to get his mind off what had just happened.

In the training room, Jaehyun was pacing.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck," he cursed at himself. "Jaehyun, what that hell were you about to do?"

He scolded himself so much so that he didn't notice Taeyong's entrance. The boy looked at him quizzically before coughing loudly to get his attention. Jaehyun stilled and the tips of his ears warmed. How much embarrassment would he have to face for the day?

"You're here," Jaehyun finally cleared his throat. Taeyong nodded slowly, he felt awkward but not as awkward as the time when he had landed on him. He had to shake his head again to stop the memory from returning. He had promised himself that he wouldn't shy away from Jaehyun again.

"Are you okay, Jae?" Taeyong stepped forward with hesitation. Jaehyun felt his heartbeat quicken at the nickname. It wasn't the first time somebody called him that but it was the first time he found himself actively liking it.

"Yes, of course," he answered speedily. He moved over to where Taeyong was and threw his suit jacket to the side. His clothes weren't exactly training suitable but that was what he got for suggesting training so soon. He felt like punching himself.

Taeyong stretched before moving closer to Jaehyun. Now that they were used to practicing with each other, it didn't feel as weird. Tense? Sure. But weird? Not really. The only thing that was worrying him now was the encounter he had with Mr Park.

Taeyong watched as Jaehyun got comfortable. The man loosened his tie and unbuckled his watch before cracking his neck from side to side. Taeyong couldn't help the the subtle blush that coated his cheeks. The way his muscles flexed through his tight, white dress shirt made the boy feel fuzzy.

"Alright, we'll continue with defence if that's ok with you," Jaehyun stepped forward. Taeyong could only nod in response, his throat suddenly feeling dry. He felt like Jaehyun's pecs were staring at him.
