As the days blurred by, Taeyong couldn't exactly fufill Jaehyun's wishes. How could he 'stay away' if they were meant to be together at all times? Taeyong found the whole thing ridiculous, he should be the one running away not Jaehyun. Jaehyun's cowardice was frustrating him to no end.

He still saw Mr Park in his house from time to time so Taeyong presumed Jaehyun hadn't done anything. Perhaps he had overreacted about the whole thing, if Mr Park really had anything to do with it he'd probably be in jail or something, Taeyong reckoned.

He had had enough of playing blue's clues about who shot at them. They were shot at and that was that, there was nothing he could do about it. Honestly, he was surprised he hadn't been shot at sooner, his dad's political career didn't exactly make him favoured by the public sometimes.

Taeyong was now on lockdown, he knew his father would never show it but the man was scared of losing his only son the same way he had lost his wife. He had walked in on his father dozing off one night, a rare sight, and he was writhing in his sleep, trembling whilst he called out for his wife and son. Sometimes Taeyong pitied his father. Other times not.

Taeyong would've found his overprotectiveness endearing if he was at least allowed to go to school, but nope, he was stuck at home for two weeks until his father was sure things had calmed down. The news was forced to stay under tight wraps so he couldn't even tell his best friend Johnny. He had to make up some lame excuse that he had gotten the flu.

Taeyong's phone buzzed eagerly in his pocket and Taeyong rolled his eyes, taking it out to silence it completely. Doyoung would definitely be on his ass now for missing the presentation and the thought of his nags were only worsening his bitter mood.

He lolled around on the bed, having nothing better to do and he was tired of watching romcoms. Jaehyun was somewhere inside the house doing what the hell ever Jaehyun did, but regardless, even if Jaehyun was with him he knew it'd be talking like to a statue.

He couldn't remember the last time he heard something other than; "Yes sir", "No sir" and the infamous "Of course sir."

Sir, that was all he heard nowadays, Jaehyun had dropped his name completely. Taeyong missed the way it rolled off the man's tongue, he even missed the childish name of little one. Now that he had accepted his feeling for the man he supposed he wouldn't mind being his little one.

Taeyong felt his stomach grumble loudly and he groaned, burying his face into a pillow. He was supposed to be studying to he catching up on all the work he missed. Taeyong knew that if he didn't do it now he'd A - be buried in a shit ton of work, and B - daddy will not be able to bail him out of it. Where was his rich kid privileges when he needed it?

Taeyong decided that his stomach was enough enough reason to procrastinate and sluggishly got up from his bed. He shuffled on his slippers and jogged downstairs. The house was quieter than usual as his father had gone on another business trip, something to do with a presidential conference? He wasn't really paying attention when they were telling him.

Taeyong arrived in the kitchen, a few maids zooming past him doing maid-y things. He spotted Yeri and Jaehyun talking in the corner and scowled. Jaehyun had barely spoken two words to him in the last two weeks yet there he was, yapping off to Yeri.

Taeyong felt his heart burn and sizzle, a foreign anger and upset eating at his chest. His mind went into autopilot and he found himself, wedging his body between the two.

"I'm hungry," Taeyong said with a pout, crossing his arms.

Yeri behind him stayed silent and Jaehyun in front of him looked away. This whole time he had been avoiding looking into Taeyong's eyes knowing that as soon as he did, his hard exterior would deteriorate and crumble.
