The phrase 'time flies by when you're having fun' was true, but in Taeyong's case it was love, or at least something close to love. A month, two, three, now they were on their fourth month together, five and a half months of knowing each other. It was the early beginnings of July.

"You know... my birthday's coming up soon." Taeyong was seated on Jaehyun's lap, an arm slung around his neck and one of Jaehyun's arms placed on his thigh and the other beside him to steady himself on the training mat.

The training room had become their go-to spot for cuddling. Taeyong's room wasn't ideal because Yeri, or another maid, often knocked at his door. Here they were free from every obligation, responsibility and relentless worry of the future that nagged their minds.

"Oh really, is it?" Jaehyun asked him, feigning surprise. Taeyong hit his chest lightly with a frown and he felt Jaehyun's chest vibrate with a laugh.

"Not funny, didn't laugh," he huffed. "But I would like a birthday present," His dropped his voice an octave and played with Jaehyun's tie. Jaehyun only smiled like Taeyong's advancements didn't really phase him.

Taeyong shifted on his lap a little, he had been trying to give Jaehyun hints for about a week now but the man didn't seem to catch on. Or if he did, he made no moves on Taeyong other than kissing and scattering purple bruises on his neck if he was feeling like teasing him a little extra. Every move Taeyong made was rejected and if he was honest, it made him feel a lot less than desireable.

Just like now when Jaehyun had pushed him off his lap abruptly and stood up. It was embarrassing.

"Get up, we have somewhere to go today," Jaehyun fixed his tie and wore his suit jacket. And just like that, Taeyong's anger from his butt being hurt had vanished and was replaced with excitement of what they'd do together. What lie would they make up this time? Where would they go? The secrecy of it all was exhilarating but at the same time, plain horrible.

"Jae... do you think you'll ever get fired if we.. yknow, got caught?" Taeyong brought up suddenly. Jaehyun stilled, it was a question they had been consciously avoiding, a question that lingered heavily in the air.

"Don't be silly, little one." Jaehyun answered after a pause but his heart pounded at the thought. He couldn't guarantee that, he wished he could guarantee that. "Now, come and let's get dressed."

Taeyong frowned but used his hands to push himself up anyways.

They had been on a couple dates so far to the movies, to an arcade, to a baseball game even because Jaehyun loved the sport and Taeyong insisted because it was usually always about him and never about Jaehyun. Sometimes he'd have to pry conversation about what he wanted out of the man. So, this time he would gladly go along with whatever Jaehyun had in store.

"Alright, let me just get dressed," Taeyong said excitedly, hopping from one foot to another and Jaehyun laughed.

"You can stay in those clothes," Jaehyun told him causing Taeyong to stop and pout.

"But we're going on a date!" Taeyong crossed his arms and looked down at his clothes. He wasn't exactly dressed to go anywhere is his lazy Saturday attire of sweatpants and a plain shirt.

"Don't worry about it, your clothes are probably going to dirty anyways," Jaehyun said with a vague smirk. Okay, now Taeyong's interest was really piqued but Jaehyun was answering none of his rapid-fire question. When they stepped out of the training room, Taeyong had to contain his excitement all the way to the car.

"Can you tell me now?" Taeyong asked for what Jaehyun had counted as the twentieth time since the car ride began. Jaehyun glanced over at his jittery boyfriend, a hand sliding up and down his thigh.
