We were laughing madly and it is because of Leon and Keyla. Kanina pa silang dalawa nagba-bangayan na parang aso't pusa. Tuwang-tuwa naman kaming natira. Other customers are looking at us with a smile and even the band in front of us.
Maliban sa bandang tumutugtog, kami na ata ang pinakamaingay sa loob ng bistro.
Sobrang dami na ng tao ngayon dahil mag-aalas nuebe na. Kumpleto na kami ngayon. Nasa walohang mesa... at kami lang ata ang pinakamarami kesa sa ibang grupo.
Kahit ka-kakilala pa lang nila sa akin ay hindi nila ipinaramdam na ibang tao ako. They always make sure I'm having fun with them.
Katabi ko sa Keyla sa kaliwa at sa kanan naman si Kish. And everytime Leon pisses her she hugs me and hides her face with her hands. Natatawa nalang ako inaasta niya.
"So... your classmates?" Kish suddenly whispered. I faced her. "Oo,"
"She's childish sometimes," I agree. Magka-edad lang kami ni Keyla pero kung umasta minsan parang bata. Lahat ng gusto dapat laging nakukuha.
"She's an only child." Kish continued. It explains why. Napatango ako at bahagyang nilingon ang pinag-uusapan. She and Leon are still debating. Napa-pailing nalang si Raiah.
"Kaya pala,"
"Yep... bear her attitude nalang," She smiled while looking at Keyla. "She's a kind kid."
"Noted,"
Hindi lang naman si Keyla. They are all kind. That's what I feel. Kahit na magka-iba ang istado namin sa buhay alam kong hindi sila tulad ng ibang mayayaman. They are genuine. And Keyla's right. Kish is right. My inner feeling is right.
"Thank you," I enunciated. Kish stilled for a minute but later on sneered.
She pats my head like a kid. "You're welcome... and thank you too!"
We laughed after. Napatingin sila sa amin kaya napaiwas ako ng tingin lalo na nang makitang mariin ang titig ng kaharap ko.
Mula nong dumating silang dalawa kanina, hindi ko pa nakakausap ng matino si Iver. I was about to but I reprobate. He's just laughing with the gang and sometimes throws some jokes. I normally laugh.
"I am right, right? You were the one who stole my tripod! Do you think I don't notice it, kid?" Leon bawled out at Keyla. The later frantically rolled her eyes.
"Excuse me old hag, your little sissy gave it to me!" she crossed her brachium and smirked. "Anyways, I threw it away na... I think it's not that expensive!" Leon gasped. Mas lumakas ang halakhakan.
"Ano ka ngayon, dude?" Vance asked.
"Gosh, pahiya ka na naman!" Brooke followed.
"Old hag, it's okay... better luck next time!" Iver mimics Keyla's voice.
Kahit natigilan si Leon sa nalaman, bigla siyang nabuhayan dahil sa narinig. I bit my lips stopping my self for smiling hard. Ang sagwa naman kasi ng boses ni Iver... para siyang baklang tambay ro'n sa may kanto.
"That's epic, Seb!"
"E-w! My voice doesn't sound like that!" Keyla strummers. She's slightly blushing... ako lang ata ang nakapansin dahil malapit sa kanya.
I am not yokel for the demeanor. Sure I'm not an expert but I can see clearly how her eyes sparkle everytime she looks at Iver.
Keyla Maeya-- my classmate, my good friend... likes Sebastian Ivershon. My heart clenches for some strange reason.
They look good together actually. I can picture them being as a couple and how happy they will be. I noticed Iver's gaze to Keyla... and they are staring at each other. I gulped and shook my head.
"Are you okay?" I smiled at Kish. "Yep,"
"So... you already stop working there?" she drinks her tequila.
Tumango ako. "Part-time ko lang 'yun. Maybe after school year... hahanap ako."
I miss my friends there especially Jaro. I didn't have the chance to talk to Moika before leaving. Isang linggo ko na ring hindi sila nakikita.
Nakapagpaalam naman ako sa kanila nang maayos. Ate Ja and I were crying while bidding goodbyes. While Ash teases Jaro... about his feelings.
May nalaman tuloy ako... it's awkward. Hiniling ko na sana hindi ko nalang pala nalaman. Na wala akong alam sa nararamdaman ni Jaro para sa akin.
The big part is when he actually confess his feelings... right in front of me and I just got done crying... that time.
I do not know what to say. I am confused and shocked. I did not utter a word. I just look at him.
Sa dami nang sinabi niya ni isa wala siyang natanggap galing sa akin. After the confession, I just laughed ungracefully and bid my goodbye.
It's rude of me but that time my mental state is not performing. He's my friend and I never thought of any romantic relationship with him. It never crosses my mind. I always thought his action is for our friendship or it's his usual demeanor for every person he gets along with.
I never notice. I didn't discern it with my eyes. Dapat magaling ako sa ganoong bagay dahil magiging attorney ako pero hindi ko nagawa. What kind of future attorney am I if I cannot even read simple things like that. I should master how to decode.
"That's great! I can help you if you want,"
"Matagal pa naman pero salamat na rin, Kish."
"No biggies. Don't hesitate okay? I'm willing to help." I nod and thank her. She's like an angel in disguise. I feel so blessed.
Bihira lang ako makahanap ng kaibigang tulad niya. It's hard to find true people these days. They are rare.
"Here, shot!" Iniabot sa akin ni Leon ang basong may lamang alak. Lumunok ako at nagda-dalawang isip kung tatanggapin ko ba o hindi. Nakakahiya naman kasing tumanggi... pero hindi ako umiinom!
"Look at her face dude," Vance said. Kumunot ang noo ni Leon habang nakatingin sa akin. It's like he's asking for my answer.
"Hindi 'yan umiinom," Iver answered for me.
Someone cough.
I stared at him with all my remaining might.
Nararamdaman ko na ang pawis sa noo ko habang nakatingin sa kanya. Nakakailang man pero pinili ko paring titigan siya pabalik.
The staring game takes several minutes... not until Keyla spoke.
"Guys..." Napatingin kaming lahat sa kanya.
"Problema mo?" Leon retorted.
"Ah... nothing! Let's drink more pa!" hilaw siyang ngumisi. I gulped and excused myself.
"Where are you going?"
"Comfort room lang," I bit my lip before answering.
"Sama ako,"
Sabay kaming pumunta ni Kish sa cr. Tahimik siya na parang may malalim na iniisip.
"Ayos ka lang?"
Hinugasan niya ang kamay bago humarap sa akin. "Do you... like someone now? Ah, do you like Sebastian?" Her scrutinizing gazed makes me shiver.
Umiling ako at nagsalita. "No,"
