Chapter 21
"I don't know what you're talking about." I said saka iniwasan siya.
"Klaro naman na nagseselos ka, eh. Aminin mo na Eunice." He said with a teased from his voice.
"Hindi nga, bakit naman ako magseselos?" sabi ko saka sumunod siya akin.
"Kasi gusto mo na siya. You liked my cousin already." Sabi niya saka ngumiti pa ng nakakaloko.
I creased my forehead and I act as if I was looking around.
"See? Hindi ka makapagsalita," sabi niya saka tinuro pa ako at tumawa.
Tinulak ko siya dahil naiinis na ako. This isn't myself. I don't know myself either!
"It's none of your business, Nasher." I said and rolled my eyes.
He laughed again and suddenly I felt an arm snaked around my waist. I suddenly felt comfortable. I saw Kiel doing that and he looked at Nash then to me with his jaw clenched tightly.
Lumayo ako agad sa kaniya at umalis doon. I just don't want to talk to him right now. Hindi ko alam pero hindi ko rin talaga alam ang nararamdaman ko.
"Selosa pala ang nililigawan mo, Primo." narinig ko pang sabi ni Nash at tuluyan na nga akong umalis palayo sa kanila.
I suddenly want to go home. May klase pa naman bukas tapos andito ako. My mom was still busy and enjoying talking with other people while she's holding a glass of wine in her hand. Lalapitan ko na sana si Mama para sabihing gusto ko nang umuwi pero biglang may humatak sa akin at inilayo ako roon.
"Kiel. Ano ba!" I hissed at him looking irritated and pissed.
"Let's talk for a while." He said as he let go of me and clenched his jaw.
I just stand there and trying to avoid his gaze. Hinanap niya ang mga mata ko and make me look at him.
"Are you mad? Tell me." He said in a low voice.
Napakurap ako. "I'm not mad. I'm just... I want to go home."
I bit my lower lip and looked down. I heard him sighed and held my elbow softly. Damn this feelings and him.
"Mag-usap muna tayo bago ka umuwi, hmm." He said softly and I looked at him. Kumikinang ang mga mapupungay niyang matang nakatingin sa akin.
"Is this about earlier?" he asked. I didn't say anything as he sighed again.
"She's just a family friend. She was my business partner because I did their company's project and it was assigned to me by my dad. Nothing more." He said as he trying to find my eyes.
I slowly nodded and didn't say anything. Hindi naman niya kailangang mag-explain eh.
"You don't have to explain it. I not mad... at lalong hindi ako n-nagselos nuh."
His lips form a thin smile and nodded.
"I know."

After that night, Kiel's been texting me for a while and asking what I am doing and such. I let that night slip off my mind and went back to my normal routine. Everything was normal and peaceful as I continue studying my lessons and preparing for my exams. There are a lot of requirements I need to meet before its deadline that's why naging busy ako lately.
Thursday and I got a text from Kiel that he might not come and picked me after my class kasi may malaking project daw silang gagawin and he needs to work overtime. I understand him and just texted Manong Roy to fetch me instead.
