Chapter 30
"Eunice?" I heard my mom's voice and I looked at my side. My vision is clear now and I can see my mom beside me holding my hand.
"Thank God, you're awake." Mangiyak-iyak na sabi ni Mama.
"Doc!" my mom went out a bit to call for the doctor.
I roamed my eyes around and found that I'm in a hospital bed. Ilang sandali pa at dumating si Mama at Kuya Ethan kasama ang doctor and some nurse.
They went to check up on me a while.
"How's my daughter, doc?" my mom asked.
"Your daughter is fine, Mrs. Graciano. She must've been shocked because of the incident. For now, all she need to do is rest."
They both looked at me with worried eyes.
"I'm glad you're safe now."
"How are you feeling?" tanong ni Kuya kung kaya't bumaling ako sa kaniya.
"I'm fine, Kuya."
I was there, crying and couldn't do anything. I was the one who killed him. I killed him.
Fear rushed to my body and I suddenly trembled. Kuya Ethan noticed my sudden fear.
"What's wrong, Eunice?" he asked as my mom looked at me now.
"K-Kuya... T-Tito Francis, I k-killed him," a tear suddenly rolled down to my cheeks.
"Ssshh. Youd didn't kill him, anak. Please stop blaming yourself." My mom said and she's crying now.
"You need to rest first, Eunice. When you're finally okay, we'll talk about it later hmm." Kuya Ethan said.
"K-Kuya... n-nasaan siya? Anong n-nangyari?"
My mom was silent crying beside me while I'm trying to look at Kuya Ethan waiting for his answer.
He sighed. "Hindi pa maayos ang kalagayan mo ngayon, Eunice. I'll tell you everything late. Rest for now."
"T-Tama ang Kuya Ethan mo, Eunice. Please, take a rest for now. Hindi makakabuti sa kalagayan mo kung iisipin mo ang nangyari." My mom said as she caressed my hair.
Wala na akong nagawa kundi ang magpahinga, because of feeling tired and weak I immediately fall asleep.

"Are you sure you're okay na talaga?" Trisha asked.
She visited me a while ago after knowing about the incident.
"Okay na nga Trisha. One more day, and I'm off here." I assured her as she peeled off some oranges for me.
"Sabi ni Tita, five days ka raw nawalan ng malay. I was worried sick about you after hearing from your brother what happened." She said and hand me the orange that she peeled out.
"Thank you." I said as I grabbed the orange from her.
She looked at me with full of worries and sadness.
