Through the Undead

Chapter 9

"Sir, runner down." I radioed.

"Ha?! Ano nangyari?!" Sir Regalado replied, shocked.

"Mukhang napagpyestahan ng mga undead Sir. Grabe nangyari sa katawan." I replied.

"Ayan kasi eh, napakayabang. Sino yang bangkay na nandyan?" Sir Regalado replied, irritated.

Violet checked the bag and found the ID of the student. Inabot sa akin ni Violet ang ID. Joseph Carl Guevarra, Grade 7.

"Sir, Joseph Carl Guevarra po." I radioed.

"Tangina bata pa nawala sa atin. Sige sige isusulat ko sa deceased yan. Tuloy nyo na paghahanap nyo. Goodluck." Sir Regalado replied.

"Roger Sir." I replied.

Violet searched the bag more but nothing else to be found. We left the body and continue to search the remaining Team 1 members.

"Guys diba may nakuha tayong mga holster? Palit kaya tayo ng pantalon para magamit natin, yung masusuotan ng belt." I suggested.

"Sa second floor kuya may sporting goods store dun pang-airsoft. Baka pwede na yun." Sebastian mentioned.

"Ayos yan! Kuha din tayo ng ilang damit sa Bench para may dagdag pampalit na tayo ng damit." I replied. "Pero ikutin muna natin yung lower ground floor at ground floor bago tayo kumuha." I replied.

Bumaba kami gamit escalator papuntang lower ground floor. Onting undead ang na-encounter namin sa lower ground and we finished them off. We searched every store but no sign of Team 1.

Umakyat uli kami ng ground floor para mag-search for Team 1. Mas malaki ang iikutin namin kaya we decided to split up. Sa Food Hub pumunta and Team 3 samantalang sa may malapit sa P.Tuazon entrance kami. Nang wala kami nahanap, nagregroup kami sa gitna para magkita kita.

Sumaglit muna kami sa Bench at Penshoppe para kumuha ng ilang underwear at damit pampalit kapag naligo kami. Kumuha ako ng 2 set ng damit at medyas. Tinupi ko ng maayos para hindi bulky pag inilagay sa bag.

Pagkatapos namin kumuha ng damit, umakyat kami sa susunod na floor para dun naman mag-search. We split up again para mas madali ang search. Napadaan kami sa isang music store.

"Ganda ng mga gitara men oh." Kirk said.

"Oo nga eh. Nagiipon panaman ako para sa amplifier ng gitara ko." I replied.

"Hoy kayong dalawa tara na di yan pinunta natin dito." Kate scolded us.

We encountered a small group of undead while searching. We had a hard time finishing them off because of our weapons. Our weapons are nearing its breaking point. Cracks are visible on the wood.

We regrouped at pumunta na kami sa sinasabi ni Sebastian na sporting goods store. It was an airsoft sporting goods store. This will be super useful.

The store has a lot of backpacks, tactical pants, vests, and shirts. I swapped my backpack for a tactical backpack for more space.

I decided to get two pairs of digital woodland camouflage tactical pants for reserve and kumuha uli ako ng isa para suotin ko ngayon. Pumunta ako sa backroom para palitan ang suot kong jogging pants.

As I opened the door, an undead man is waiting for me. I quickly raised my arm to guard myself as he lunged at me. He bit my arm guards and I nearly fell because he kept on pushing and pushing. Kairo swinged his weapon at the head undead man, crushing it, and the man fell lifelessly on the floor.

"Phew, good swing Kairo. Salamat." I patted his shoulder

Kairo smiled in response.

I got in the backroom to change my pants. After putting it on, lumabas ako at kinuha ang belt at holster sa bag at sinuot ito. I grabbed the pistol and its magazines and put it in my holster amd magazine holders.
