Luna was at a loss. All she knew was she had to find Sarah tonight. She had to talk to her. The Cameron girl kept running off, so she'd need someplace she couldn't run, but that was a little hard at a place like this. She also couldn't stop thinking about the blonde boy she'd met the day of the storm, and whilst his face replaying in her mind was distracting, she wasn't complaining either.
The girl in green still hadn't found her aunt, and now she had had yet another negative interaction with Topper, she didn't really feel like asking him. The older woman seemed to have disappeared. Unless of course she was inside, because that was a definite possibility. Luna just hadn't been inside the building yet because it was warm enough out.
She was about to do just that and make her way inside, when there was a sudden distraction to her left. Some small ruckus had broken out, attracting not just her attention, but the majority of the party's too. The ruckus grew louder and more obvious as whoever was causing the 'scene' made their way down the steps of the brightly lit building to the freshly cut grass floor.
"It's okay everyone. Do not panic!" A voice echoed loudly. "Leave it to the men and women in uniform."
Even more people halted their conversations to see what was happening now, but Luna was pretty sure she already knew. That voice could only belong to one person and that person was JJ.
The girl moved instantly away from the door and to a position on the fenced wooden patio where she could see him easier. It was obvious from what he was saying that he must have finally been caught 'trespassing' by security, and these thoughts were confirmed when her eyes fell upon the burly guard who was holding the teenager's arms tightly, escorting him quickly off of the premises. The attempts to make it subtle had failed, as now pretty much everyone was watching.
"Rose!" The boy proclaimed, pointing at the Cameron wife. "You look like lady liberty. Good to see you again."
Luna felt a grin arise, laughing at his comments despite the horrified frowns from the Karens around her. The headpiece was definitely a look too far. The grin began to fall more and more as more and more force was used on JJ.
"Let go off him." Luna blurted without thinking. She instantly panicked when all the heads span around to stare at her, especially considering know one really knew who she was. The girl could probably be kicked out just as easily considering she wasn't even an island resident. It was too late to go back on what she said now, however, so she continued. "You can't just boot him!"
Out of the many eyes now watching her, the ocean eyes stood out the most. Even from across the party she felt their calming presence. JJ was watching her intently, waiting to see what would happen next. She could see the hint of surprise, but also a smirk growing on his lips. His lips.
Her thoughts were interrupted by a harsh hand on her shoulder. She jumped when startled by the foreign touch, and saw JJ frown angrily at whoever it was. After glancing round quickly she saw it was her cousin...why wasn't she surprised.
