Luna squealed as she ran away from JJ, who was currently chasing her through the Crain House garden. He was holding a long piece of grass and had been using it to tickle the smaller girl, who was incredibly ticklish- a secret that was unintentionally revealed when her arm brushed past a fern. They were supposed to be looking for water, but had gotten a little sidetracked whilst trying to distract each other from the axe murderer who could jump out any second.
"JJ, I swear-" Her desperate pleas were cut off as he caught up to her and lifted her effortlessly into the air where she could no longer escape. Her giggles were loud and probably quite obnoxious, but she couldn't help it. "Stop! Put me down!"
"Only if you say the password." Was the response she got from the boy who had her now thrown over his shoulder. She could practically hear the smirk.
"Please?"
"Nope."
"Uh...tree?"
He scoffed. "No."
"Luna is my favorite person in the world and-"
"Not even close."
"Okay...what about 'my name is JJ and I like pulling guns on annoying people'?"
He stumbled over a sticking out root which meant she was flung up slightly before hitting his back face first. The girl was pretty sure he had done it on purpose. "Haha very funny."
"Ouch." She bought her free hand to her nose and rubbed it, before an idea came to mind. "JJ, JJ."
"That's just my name."
"I know, but there's a lady watching us, and she has an axe." The brunette whispered with a sly smile. Instantly she felt her body move back to the ground
"What? Where?" The blonde boy whispered back, now seemingly terrified. Luna felt a little guilty when she saw his panic, but it was too late to take it back now. Plus he looked cute with wide eyes.
"Sike!" She laughed before running off. The girl could hear grumbling and complaining and footsteps behind her but she just kept going until she stumbled out to where the other three pogues were standing. "Oh, hello again."
"You can't just-" JJ caught up to where she was stood, wobbling himself as he emerged from the long grass, brushing stuff off of his top frantically. When he noticed the others staring at the two he went quiet.
Both Kiara and Pope were staring at them incredulously, whilst John B was fiddling with some small door on the side of the house. Neither seemed very impressed.
"If Mrs Crain didn't already know we were here, then she definitely does now with you two and your shrieking." Kie rolled her eyes and turned back to where her friend was crawling through the small hatch into the house. Luna bit her lip to stop herself from laughing, but she couldn't help but chuckle as she looked back to JJ.
