The setting sun had always been beautiful. No matter where you were it glowed and it smiled and it beamed softly across the evening sky. Neither Luna or her mother had ever been ones for religion, but the older woman used to tell her daughter that each sunset was a dying artist's last gift to the world. It was sort of bittersweet, and whilst she never used to believe the story, it always seemed so magical.

Right now however, as the golden rays shone out over the orange sky, Luna hadn't even noticed. She was too distracted, too deep inside her own head, to even acknowledge the fact the moon was soon approaching.

The guilt that had infected her body had taken full control, and JJ's face of betrayal just before he left was etched permanently into her mind. Each time she thought she had gotten rid of the image, it was replaced by the dangerous eyes of their masked attacker, and that was almost worse. It was worse. She couldn't eat, even when Kiara brought her over free fries, her appetite was simply non-existent. Perhaps it was because she already felt incredibly nauseous, it felt like even moving would make that worse, let alone eating.

"Luna!"

She blinked. Slowly, as if to bring herself back into reality. Then she turned her head to the side to where her best friend Sarah Cameron was watching her with a frown. "Huh?"

"I think we should take you home."

"What? No i'm fine." That was definitely incorrect.

"You're not fine. We've been talking to you for the past twenty minutes and the whole time you've been staring at the plate like it's a movie."

"Oh."

"Yeah. Kie's gonna drop you off."

"Should we not go look for JJ? If he's upset-"

"Look. He'll come around, alright? It's...he's doing a JJ thing." John B replied.

"What if he's in trouble? What if Barry found him? What if he's waiting for us to-"

"Lu! He's going to be fine."

"Do you think he'll go home?" Kiara finally spoke softly, breaking the gently aggressive conversation between John B and Luna.

"There's about a zero percent chance that JJ goes home." Pope answered her straight away, though he remained leant against the restaurant window, gazing out at the scenery. They had all ended up at the Wreck, Luna wasn't too sure why, but it would have felt wrong returning to the Chateau without JJ so she was sort of thankful.

But then she began to analyse Pope's words, what was that supposed to mean? "Why wouldn't he go home?"

She looked up at the others, eyes flicking from person to person, all of whom were now sharing wary glances. Sarah opened her mouth as if to speak, but one look to her boyfriend and she closed it again. She knew the boy didn't like his home, or she assumed so from the amount of time he spent at John B's, but it seemed there was more than just that and the drugs she found out his dad liked to abuse.
