Chapter 18: Dinner

Clein, Amor and Veronica gaped their mouth open as we reached the town. Kael is still in his serious bored face, not even a single awe have seen on his face. Si Brian? Walang pake, nakapamulsa lamang habang naglalakad. I've been here kaya hindi na ako masusurpresa pa but there's still a little of excitement. Who wouldn't be amazed in this wonderful town? Lahat naman siguro.

The town of Aramoor is a contemporary bustling town. People- I mean wolves are everywhere. Each building is beautifully appointed. Any kind of cars and motors can be seen in the street roaring and running fast. There's a lot of alluring structures in the area. 

Wolves that disguise as human are busy on their own businesses. Hindi mo mahahalatang lobo sila dahil sa kilos at galaw nila na parang natural na tao lamang. I doubt that they wouldn't smell us; hunters, human and witch scent- because most of them are looking at us like we're the most delicious prey they've ever seen. Or maybe they are looking at the three men who are actually leading us the way to the place we could stay. Because one of them is the alpha and well-known as the highest and fearsome of all.

Nagpatuloy kami sa paglalakad at tumigil sa tapat ng napakalaking building at feel ko ang pinakamalaki sa lahat ng mga gusali na nandito. May lalaking kinausap pa ang alpha na sa tingin ko ay patungkol sa amin.

"Hindi ba tayo mapapahamak dito?" I could sense fear in his voice, bumuntong hininga ako bago hinarap ang kapatid ko. Napapatingin siya sa paligid. Napairap na lang ako saka sinabing "We're safe as long as the alpha won't plan to hurt us."

Napatingin ako kay Veronica na panay kapit sa braso ni Kael. She's scared, lalo na sa nangyari sa kanila kanina. They're childhood bestfriends kaya okay lang naman siguro kung masyadong nakadikit siya kay Kael. Napatingin naman ako kay Amor na umiiyak, nakalimutan kong may sugat nga pala siya. Agad akong lumapit sa kaniya.

"Huwag kang mag-alala, gagamutin natin 'yan mamaya." hindi siya sumagot sa halip ay patuloy lang sa pag-iyak habang nakatingin sa sugat niya sa braso na dumudugo. Naaawa ako sa kaniya, even though she's a bitch hindi naman pepwedeng hahayaan na lang namin siyang ganyan.

"What's taking them so long?" Naiinis na wika ni Brian. I agree with him, lumapit ako sa kanila-sa alpha na may kausap. Napatingin sila sa akin and I tried to hide the fear I'm feeling by faking a smile. Who wouldn't be afraid when you're in the wolves territory?

"Sorry to interrupt but we need a place to stay as soon as possible, one of us is physically hurt and I think one of you is at fault." matapang na saad ko. The alpha looked at me with an amuse smile plastered on his lips.

"Your friend wouldn't be at risk if you didn't come to our territory." he retorted.

"But still, it is your territory. You should atleast welcomed us with warm hearts."

Tinalikuran ko sila at tumingin sa mga kasama ko. Kael looked at me and frown. I want to raise a brow but I remained not to. But still, what is his problem? Nilapitan ko si Amor na umiiyak, tinatahan siya ni Clein, tanging pag-iyak lamang nito ang natigil maliban sa patuloy na pag-agos ng dugo mula sa braso niya.

"Follow them." sabay kaming napatingin sa Alpha na nagsalita at tinuro ang dalawang babae. We did what he said. Sumunod kami sa dalawang babae. I could see them showing flirty looks at the three boys with us. Binigyan ko sila ng masamang tingin nang lumingon ito sa akin, akala ko matatakot sila or what pero naalala kong hindi sila ordinaryong tao, masama din nilang akong tinignan kaya napatigil ako, narinig ko pa ang huling sinabi ng isang babae "Her scent screams power."

"Why did you stop?" Napatingin ako kay Veronica, I glance at Kael who is looking at me. Umiling na lamang ako.

Narating namin ang silid kung saan kami mananatili. The inside was huge and there are six bedrooms and two cr. The living room is so big and there's a large flat screen TV mounted on the exterior wall.
