"Who is she? I don't like her, she's too pretty." napatingin ako sa batang babae na nagsalita. She looked at me with hatred. I faught the urge to roll my eyes.
I don't like her too. "I'll take that as a compliment, little beast." I whispered looking at the table. The little girl, obviously, didn't heard what I said, she's busy beast eating her food. She has a green hair which is the thing I only like about her and I hate the rest.
"Huwag mo siyang pansinin, ganiyan lang talaga yan." hindi ko pinansin ang sinabi ng matanda at nagpatuloy lang sa pagkain. Wala talaga akong ganang kumain but as a respect to the old woman beside me I would eat the food.
I looked at the old woman who stood up from her chair. She cleared her throat and look at us with determination. "I would like to formally introduce myself. I am Teressa Stone the Female Alpha of Moon Stone Pack"
"I heard that the Moon Stone Pack is the highest among the other." narinig kong Saad ni Kael.
"Indeed it is." sagot ng matanda at isang malawak na ngiti ang sumilay sa labi niya. Napatango rin ako dahil sa pagkamangha sa narinig.
Sunod na nagpakilala ay ang lalaking humarang sa amin "Zedrick Stone" hindi man lang siya tumayo nang nagpakilala. Nakita kong sinamaan siya ng tingin ni Teressa bago umupo.
Lumapit si Teressa sa akin at bumulong.
"Sorry for my grandson's attitude." I nodded and politely smiled at her.
I know that I should introduce myself, nagpakilala ako and the usual, introduction is always boring. Napatingin ako kay Kael na hindi man lang nagpakilala. He's ruder than Zedrick the male alpha. Hindi rin naman nagtanong sila sa pangalan ni Kael, sabagay tinawag naman siya ni Teressa kanina na Young Master.
They served us the desserts after we finished the main course. My stomach immediately growled when I saw the dessert. Of course, they didn't heard it, right? Kanina wala akong gana pero nung makita ko ang dessert ay nakaramdam ako ng gutom. Maybe, I'm just craving for desserts.
"You wouldn't invite us if this dinner hasn't a purpose." pabulong kong sambit at mukhang hindi nila inaasahan iyon. Napatingin sila sandali sa akin. Tumikhim si Zedrick kaya napunta sa kaniya ang atensyon namin. We waited for him to talk.
I've already told them that my companions can't go due to laziness and tiredness.
"Well," napatingin kami sa kaniya, his eyes met mine, I didn't bother to look away, I remained looking at him without even flinching, and by looking at him, I felt a strong bond between us. An amuse smile plastered on his lips.
"I finally found my mate." he announced.
I smirked at his silly announcement. Maybe, for them it's not silly because finding their mates is important to their kind. Napatingin ako kay Kael na kanina pa hindi nagsasalita at seryoso lamang nakatingin sa pagkain niya nang sabihin iyon ng Male Alpha. Hinintay ko kung may sasabihin pa ba sila o wala, but the room fell silent for a moment.
The little beast broke the silent "Talaga! Kuya, where is she?" Halos hindi makapaniwalang tanong ng batang babae na sa tingin ko ay kapatid niya. I didn't bother to know her name, little beast is enough. I want to roll my eyes on her when Zedrick mentioned her name. Her name is Angel. And how can be a girl named angel has a devil-like attitude?
Para siyang mini-me ni Amor. But the difference is their attitude; Amor has the bad bitchitude all the time and the little girl is rude. Napansin ko na sa tuwing nilalapitan siya ng mga maid para punasan ang kalat niya ay sinasamaan niya ito ng tingin at sinasabihan ito ng masasakit na salita. I really hate her. She's a brat!
