A/N: Camp counselor AU! I was on Tumblr and someone said they wanted something like this, and I absolutely adore the idea! I've also been rewatching Camp Camp recently, so I have some things from that I could throw into it. So, it'll be all sorts of fun! Alrighty! One more quick thing. I am going to throw in Camp Camp characters, because I'm bored and I can. So spoilers for the series up to the end of seasons 4. Let's get into it!

Bakugou's POV

"Fucking christ," I sighed, shutting the door to the counselor's cabin.

"You okay, man?"

Kirishima, my coworker, was sitting at his desk, staring at some papers. He lacked his usual upbeat tone, trading it out for something more tired. A bit more plain.

"I'm fine, I'm fine. Just..." I slid down the door, rubbing my temples. "The usual trio getting on my nerves again,"

"Oh," Kirishima barely got above a whisper. "What was it this time?"

"Nothing as major as usual,"

"No blackmail?"

"No blackmail," I confirmed.

Kirishima walked over to me, offering a hand. "Wanna watch something together? Maybe catch up on some Rob Boss, y'know?"

"I dunno, Kiri. I'm really tired," I said, taking his hand and standing up.

I walked over to my bed in the cabin and laid down on it, my eyes wandering over to the desk. The amount of paperwork Kirishima was looking at was a lot.

"Do you need help with any of that?"

"What, this?" Kirishima asked, throwing his upbeat tone back on. "Nah! I'm all good! Nothing I can't handle!"

"Kirishima, don't you dare fucking lie to me. You were up setting up today's activity all night and we obviously can't trust QM with that shit," I scoffed. "Is there anything I can do?"

"What you can do, is go to bed and rest up. That way, we can both be awake and ready for tomorrow," Kirishima said, tying the T-shirt back around his neck to make it look like a bandana.

"Kirishima," I groaned. "No. Give me half the stack. That way it can go faster, and we can both go to bed sooner. Okay?"

Before Kirishima could argue, I pulled a chair up to the desk and took half of the stack.

When I looked at the papers, I saw that there was a folder at the bottom of Kirishima's stack, with a name poking out of it.

"MAX"

"You still worried about him, huh?" I asked, reading over our first bill.

"Yeah. I really am," Kirishima said with a tired laugh. "We never got to meet his parents, since he came in on the bus like most of the campers, and they didn't even show up for parents day. And then there's the obvious fact that he doesn't even have an activity that he was signed up for. So what's going to happen when the summer is over?"

I paused.

Sure, Max was an asshole. He's a jaded ten year-old who has made suicidal comments and has tried to Kirishima to cry himself to sleep. But there is definitely a reason he does that shit. Right?

And the fact that his parents never seem to give a fuck makes me think it has to do with his parents.

"I... I don't know," I replied with a sigh.

And with that sort of tension left in the air, we began dealing with all of the paperwork.
