But every now and then.I almost give up to every interviews I have.I didn't know its going to be tough.I never expected to come up like this.

"Sorry but the vacancy is already taken,"usal ng secretary matapos mabasa ang resume ko.I gritted my teeth as I nodded.Pang ilan ko na ba to?Every time I show my resume its either no vacancy or not for hiring sila.Nakakainis na talaga.So in the end I end up chasing jobs and focus to the kids.

After I get fired 2 weeks ago.I decided to bond with the kids. Yung mga naging pagkukulang ko sa kanila pinunan ko sa mga araw na iyon.We went to mall.Shop and grocery.I enjoy it as well but then lets face reality.Tumatakbo ang oras nauubos ang pera...I need to find a decent job before I bankrupt my account.

I sighed. Sa kanya din naman pala ako babagsak.I was staring blankly on the elevator.Would you believe that?nakapasok ako sa territoryo ng Javellana. This is the company his father been leading for so long.Siya na pala ang bagong tagapamahala. Is that also mean they already emerge this company to the other?To whom perhaps?Maresse?I smile bitterly. Hindi ko alam sa tagal kong maghintay makapunta sa tamang floor ni Vince ay napalayo na ang iniisip ko.Bumuga nalang ako sa kawalan.This can't do.

Bungad ko sa secretary sa floor na pinasukan ko.Binigyan niya ako ng palakaibigan na ngiti.

"Goodmorning ma'am what can I do for you?"

"uh.I want to talk to Mr. Javellana is he in his office today?"

"Do you have an appointment with Mr. Javellana po?"

I bit my lips and shook my head.May appointment pala dapat ako sa kanya bago humarap.Bakit ba nakaligtaan ko yun?

"Uh.I'm sorry ma'am but Mr.Javellana only entertain those who already have appointment with him po"

Its a given management rule naman kaya naiintindihan ko.

"Can you atleast give him a heads up?just tell him Veronica Ignacio came here"pagsubok kong muli.Tumango ito at pinindot ang intercom.

"Good day sir..you have a guest name Veronica Ignacio...we dont have any appoinment as of the moment sir.Okay po "

Pagkatapos niyang ibaba ang tawag ay binigay niya na ang atensyon sa akin.

"Ma'am you can now go to his office.He's waiting for you po daw," paliwanag nito.Kumunot naman ang noo ko.

"Hindi na ba ako magssched ng appointment with him?"

"No ma'am he already order to invite you to his office," Now I get it.

She lead me to the office.She knock at the door before she motion me to come inside.Sinunod ko naman siya at ngumiti bilang pagpapasalamat.Nagtama ang tingin naman ng lalaking naka coat and tie ngayon.Napataas tuloy ako ng kilay.

Hindi niya matago ang ngiti sa labi niya ng nakita niya ako sa harap ng opisina niya.I should not dwell too much emotion to our past.Kailangan ko maging practikal sa kambal dahil kung hindi baka isang araw magulat nalang ako at nangangapa na kami sa gastusin.I can ask for finances sa ama nilang gago lalo na at siya ang nagtanggal sa akin sa trabaho pero ni kaalaman nga na nabuntis niya ako noon wala siya.I can even imagine how shock his face would be if I ask something like that.Of course Javellana won't have a problem with that madami siyang pera pwede niya ngang tulugan yun kung gusto niya.

"Well...well...well what have we have here?"nakangisi niyang bungad.As if he was not expecting me to be there.Eh isang tawag lang sa secretary niya kanina agad agad akong pinapasok.
