I cleared my throat and just chewed my food. Zach is still laughing though.

"Then...you should put make up too." sambit ko.

Napatigil siya at itinaas ang kilay sa akin. He rested on his chair and it cracked a bit. He's massive so the chair looked so small.

"Para magmukha ka ding tao."

He barked out of laughter and even held his stomach. Parang nahawa ako sa tawa niya kaya napatawa din ako.

Napatigil ako nang inilapit niya ng mukha niya ang hinawakan ang labi ko. I stiffened at his touch, it felt so new.

"Ano bang shade ang lipstick mo, mare?"

Nanlaki ang mata ko at iniwas ang mukha. It felt so awkward.

"B-bakit ba?" 

Natatawa pa rin siyang umupo ulit at umiling iling pa.

"Matry nga."

I inhaled big amount of air and pursed my lips. I don't why he's acting like this. Or talagang ganito siya.

"Uh..Zach, huwag ka sanang maooffend.." panimula ko.

He stared at me intently but the amusement in his eyes never faded. He even licked his lips and pulled his chair nearer to the table..as if very attentive to what I am going to say.

"What is it?"

I bit my lip and shifted my seat uncomfortably. I really hope he won't get offended.. I mean he's the only person who approached me and I think he's friendly enough.

"Are...you...gay?"

His smile faded and his jaw literally dropped. I mentally scolded myself because thinking that this question offended him made me feel scared that he'll stop talking to me.

"I mean...your actions ar--"

"Are?"

"Feminine."

Natawa siya ng sobra at itinuro ako. Gamit ang nakakainsultong mata, agad akong nakaramdam ng hiya.

"No..no.. I'm not gay." he uttered while still chuckling.

Ngumuya na lang ako ng pagkain at bahagyang nakaramdam ng ginhawa. At least he's not offended right?

"Putcha, sa gwapo kong ito mapagkakamalan akong bakla?"

I heard him mumble those words as he began to chew his food.

"What is this called?"

Itinuro niya ang gulay na linuto ko. "Pinakbet."

"And this?" he asked and pointed at the meat.

"Adobo." sagot ko habang ngumunguya.

"Infairness, ang sarap ha." sambit niya at kumain muli.

Itatabi ko na sana ang pagkain ko dahil busog na ako nang binalingan niya ako ng nanlalaking mata.

"Tapos ka na?" hindi niya makapaniwalang sambit.

Tumango lang ako bilang sagot. Wait..gusto pa niya?

"Give me that. I'll finish it." he said.

I smiled more and just watched him enjoyed eating his food. Masarap sa pakiramdam na hindi niya tinitignan ang tao base sa estado ng buhay.

He doesn't treat his workers lower than him. At ang makitang kinakain niya ang pinagbebenta kong budget meal ay patunay na hindi siya matapobre. And I admire this attitude of him. Siguro talaga sadjang palabiro siya at talagang madaldal.
