"So..do you know what you, Zay and Cleo are gonna do today?" I question as I walk into the kitchen the next morning after getting ready for my day with Isadora "uhh..no..we'll find something..probably take her to pappy joes" Lucas replied with a soft smile, passing Cleo a bowl of coco pops

"Oo are you excited baby? Go and see some animals?" I question her. She nods "I can't wait!" She beamed "Zay's on his way over" Lucas added. I nodded, picking up my new season handbag "okay I better get going too then..have a good day baby. Be good for daddy" I lean down to kiss her forehead "I will! I love you mommy" she replied with a mouthful of food

I smile, kissing Lucas' cheek "call me if you need anything" I say to him. He nods, "don't spend all your money" he joked. I rolled my eyes playfully, "oh please in one mall? I could never" I smirk, making my way to the door and into the rental car

I put in the directions to isadoras, following down the calm roads until I reached her neighbourhood, pulling into her driveway. I stopped the engine, knocking on her door for a few seconds waiting for her to open it.

"Yay! I'm so excited!" She beamed as the door flew open. I smiled "I am too! It's gonna be such a good day just doing some shopping and going out to eat-" I stop myself as I step inside her house "oh my god what is that smell" I screw my face up

She looked at me confused, "I'm not sure..Zay made food before he left?..a tuna sandwich?" She furrowed her eyebrows. I gagged, "Isadora that smell is.." I start before shaking my head, making my way to their nearest bathroom

I drop to the bathroom floor, throwing up my insides into the toilet. She hurried in behind me, holding my hair back to keep it out of my way "Maya..are you feeling okay?" She rubbed soothing circles into my back

I reached up to flush the toilet, wiping my mouth with toilet paper "Yea it's just the smell was so strong" I brush it off, standing back up from the floor "have you..have you thrown up before?" She questioned

"The other day, on the way over in the plane..air sickness" I shrug my shoulders, checking my hair and makeup in the mirror. She crouched down, rummaging through the cupboards in front of me "here you go" she handed me a small pink box

I laughed, "I'm not pregnant, Isadora" I state "really? When did you last do it?" She asked. "Last night" I smile proudly "well before last night" she hit my arm playfully "like the day before Lucas left to come back here a few weeks ago..I don't know" I shrug

"Exactly. That was three weeks ago, it takes three weeks for morning sickness to kick in. Take the test" she waved the box in front of me again. I sighed "I'm not pregnant. But I'll take your little test" I usher her out of the bathroom

I open the box, doing what I had to do to make the test work and then pacing for a few moments while the timer I had set on my phone counted down. When it rung, I opened the door to see her leaning against the wall opposite the bathroom

"So?" She raised her eyebrows. I sucked in a breath, picking up the test from the counter "oh for fucks sake" I mutter. She stepped inside, her eyes glancing over the small stick

Pregnant

"So..are you gonna tell him?" She questioned. I bit my lip, "maybe..soon..not today though..I just wanna forget about it and go shopping..and eat.." I pout. She laughed, "okay..but you have to tell him before you leave Texas" she demanded

I followed her back out to the driveway, starting the car again "maybe I don't tell him" I shrug "what so you're just gonna have a growing stomach and tell him you're just getting fat" she looked to me stupidly

"Isa..I've already dragged him into a family with one child..he probably doesn't want a second right now" I sigh "exactly! It has to cook for 9 months. I really can't see Lucas wanting to miss another one of his child's births, Maya. You know he will be there, and we both know he will want to be" she protested

I sucked in a breath, "fine. I'll tell him tonight after wine" I state simply. "No..no you aren't. No more wine" she laughed
