I was sitting down on a premade bed in the medical bay, Kana was scolding me for not telling her about me keeping my dizzy spasms and other issues a secret.

"You of all people should know that in science. We don't keep secrets!" She walked away in a huff of irritation.

"Just like your father..." she mumbled.

I sighed, rubbing my eyes with drowsiness. "I haven't seen her that mad since Henry," Evan said while eating a pocky. I looked at him with a questioning gaze. "Oh... Right. You didn't know about that. Your Dad was her mentor in the Lab"

He looked away, "He was like that for most of us" I nodded in general understanding, "Anyways... Follow me..." I followed Evan into the room with the treadmill. "I updated the model, we will be able to track your vitals, along with any other biological necessity we need" I nodded and stood on the treadmill.

"Start when your ready" I heard Kana say from the other room. I started running, using my speed to run on the machine. I was taking it slow, so I started at a casual 728km/h becoming a blur on the treadmill.

"Everything seems normal for Dylan's standards" Evan pointed out, "Wait... Look at this" Kana pointed out. "Is that his glucose levels?" He replied. My head started to feel dizzy, the world spun and I lost my footing, fainting on the treadmill, colliding into the wall behind me. "We think we found the reason why you keep..." That was the last thing I heard.

.....

I opened my eyes to see the ceiling of the Cortex. My body let out a groan as I sat up. Kana walked over to me to check on me. "Are you okay?"

"What happened?"

"You fainted at Super Speed" Evan bluntly pointed out. I stood up and looked around, "Did you find out what was wrong with me?"

"We found a few anomalies with your vitals. You had a lack of hydration and severe Hypoglycemia"

I nodded, "So, I'm not eating enough. Great..."

"While you were out I calculated your metabolic rate with a contrast of your new diet. On estimate, you would have to eat approximately 852 tacos... Unless we're talking extra cheese..." he walked away with a mission.

I laughed at him. Then I saw the 50 or so empty IV bags. "You were quite thirsty" Kana pointed out. "So, I'm fast, I have abs, I can't get fat. Cool..."

Kana led me to the computer, "We ran more tests and your powers are far superior than any ordinary quirk. The things your body could do in the future could be anything at this point"

My head just nodded with a blank gaze, "Oh... I also called your Uncle"

"And?"

"He wanted to know if you're in need of a drive home?"

"I think I have that covered..."

.....

I ran home, opening the door and walking inside. When I reached the kitchen, I saw my Uncle standing there with his arms crossed. "Sit down..." he quietly said.

I followed his orders and sat down. "Look... I know you have gone through some changes. But... You have to stop what you're doing" He stated with a serious tone.

"What?"

"The running around as some racing fireball and helping people. You're not a cop. It's not your job"

I shook my head, "What do you expect me to do?! Huh!? Tell me?" I got defensive. "You can't go around and do those things" He argued.

"You're kidding me... I have to do it! I have always been too slow! My mother... She died because I was a dumb kid that couldn't stop that man from murdering her! I wasn't able to save my Dad! So, tell me what I should do?! Because if I can save someone from a burning building! I'm gonna do it!"

He took a breath in frustration.

"I know... But... Look at it from my point of view!" He argued. "What do you mean!? Your point of view?! I can finally do something to make a difference and you're against it!"

He stood up in anger, "I DON'T CARE!! YOU DON'T GET IT!!" He snapped which I took a step back. He took a breath to calm himself. "Listen... You can't go out there and do those things..." he walked up to me and pulled me into a hug. "You're all I have left... So... please... Promise me" He whispered.

I didn't know what to say...

I pulled away...

"I can't stop when I'm like this... This speed, it's beyond anything. The power of running, the wind on my face, the energy coursing through my veins. There's nothing like it..."

"So, that's a no?" He had hope in his eyes, there were tears brimming at the edges. "This is the only way I can help. The only way I can think of using something on my life to do good... Using my speed to help"

He blinked away his tears, "I'm sorry..." I flashed out of the house and towards somewhere else...

Anywhere else...
