He was lost from the eyes of everyone hes ever known. Gone from everyone he's ever loved. Sam was there and then he wasn't, almost like he vanished out of thin air. The boy was just a child then, a very bright one at that. His mother always used to tell him not to talk to strangers. That strangers could be bad people and could do hurtful things to him. Of corse Sam agreed, he always did. Never wanting to cause a fight between him and his mother. That's what made sam so special, his enormous amount of love and care for others.

Sam was a lover and always would be. He cared for every living thing big or small. He was always there to talk to even if he never really understood his mother's grown up problems but still he smiled and nodded his head when needing to. Giving off that 'hey I'm still listing' type of attitude even if in reality he was boarded with hearing his mother complain on about different politics or Netflix endings. Sam was a kind soul, his mother always saying how he reminded her for a old man. Always so concerned with other people's problems and ready to help yet independent and lazy all at once. He was adventurous and a delight to be around. Everyone had high hopes for the young boy.

His future looked great with all of the As he was bringing in on his report card. Nobody would of thought in a million years that Sam would turn out to be anything less then extraordinary, but sadly life didn't work out that way.

It was late and Sams mother and father had fallen asleep cuddled up on the couch, there favorite movie playing in the dim light. The smell of stale popcorn in the air as it sat half empty on the side table. The drinks they were finishing laid there as well. It was ruffly 2AM and surprisingly Sam was still wide awake. His little hands rubbing at his eyes as he glanced up at his alarm clock. The big flashing lights indicating that he shouldn't be up for another seven or so hours. Yawning sam groaned as he stretched his limbs, his small bones cracking as he stood tall.
Looking around him threw squinted vision Sam began his young adventure down stairs. The small pitter patters of his feet going unnoticed as he made it to the bottom. His lovely parents passed out on the couch, loose smiles hanging from there lips.

Smiling at that Sam slowly walked into the kitchen. His ocean orbs raking over the unopened juice box on the counter. Reaching for it on high toes Sam giggled as he grasped it. The little box fitting perfectly in his hands as he opened it. Sam was pretty small for his age but still as strong as anyone else. He always loved to help his father take out the rubbish or pull the weeds. Made him feel big.

Slurping down his juice Sam sighed when it gargled at the end. The straw no longer sucking in any juice as the box lay empty. Humming Sam wiped his lips before making it over to the trash bin, the bin overly flown with rubbish. Shaking his small head Sam placed his empty box next to the bin before scooping out the trash bag. The full thing almost the same size as himself. Groaning as he lifted it up Sam quickly threw his juice inside before tying it off. A soft "I'll be back mommy and daddy" leaving his lips as he dragged the bag to the back door. The dumpster only a few feet away from outside it.

Quietly opening the door with a small creeaak Sam shivered as the coldness britched his skin. A small shake leaving his shoulders as he scooped the bag back up again. His small arms dragging the thing out the back door before he closed it behind him. His parents still completely oblivious to there sons dangerous actions. Looking out in front of him Sam watched as the dark sky whooshed with skin chilling winds. The moon shining brightly in the sky as thousands of stars twinkled above. All completely unaware of Sams precious mistake of leaving the house alone.

Walking Sam hummed softy to himself. The darkness of the world meaning nothing to him as he walked to the end of the drive way. His hands dragging along the rubbish before leaving it there. The others stood frozen as well, trash day was tomorrow which meant a weeks worth of trash was piled out front.
