White privilege is a visible thing , your skin colour defines your wealth in the world and let's just say the white privilege is apparent as they are the rich.

Jess pushed her glasses up her nose as she flicked to the next page of her book , glancing out of the train shuttle window , the trees standing tall near the windows. She hated the fact she was classed as "rich". She had to speak posh and dress fancy where as she wanted to dress like a lazy person and speak like a normal person. She hated the fact that her skin colour had to be a barrier between relationships.

The girl was knocked out of her thoughts when the door to the part of the train she was sat in opened and a dark skin man rushed in shutting the door quickly. The man took a deep breath before turning around , his eyes widening when he saw the well dressed girl sat on the seat , book in her lap with wide eyes through her glasses.

"I-I'm so so- my friends-" the door opened once again , making Jide fly to the seat in front of the girl , a train attendant walking in , a dirty look on the mans face when he spotted the dark skin man across from her.

"I'm sorry ma'am , is this peasant bothering you?" The man spoke with such arrogance making the girl raise her eyebrows. She glanced at the dark skin man in front of her who held a depressed look on hhis face. "Excuse yourself from my carriage please" the girl spoke looking down her nose at the attendant who now looked taken aback. "Sorry , ma'am" the man mumbled before backing out of the doorway and out of the train shuttle.

Jess looked back at the dark skin boy across form her , putting her bookmark on the page before shutting her book. She huffed as she brushed her hand behind her ears before tying her hair up into a low messy bun. The boy watched as she took her glasses off , shoving them into a small bag that sat next to her before looking at the boy.

"I-I'm sorry for- well everything that just happened. Ummm , my friends-" the boy was cut off once more , his nervousness overridden by the girls small chuckle , "I'm not like the rest of them" the girl spoke the posh accent now replaced with a London accent.

The boy was surprised as he stared at the girl in front of him. He had never met such a nice rich person nor such a pretty one. The boy bowed his head , giving a small chuckle in disbelief. "Are you serious?" Jide let out a small breath , not believing anything the girl was saying. "Yes , I am serious , now what's your name?" The girl giggled as she sat her book to the side , her full attention on the boy that sat in front of her.

"I'm-im Olajide but you can call me JJ," the boy spoke in a quiet voice , his eyes trained to the floor as the train slowed down to a stop , "Well olajide , I'm Jess and this is my stop , if you want , I could stay until you get back to where you are going?" The girl gave a small smile , something Jide had never received from a rich person. It made his heart flutter , the girls kindness making him happy.

"It's another trip around town , I wouldn't ask you of such a thing" Jide spoke bowing his head , his dreads falling over his bandana. Jess' eyes glanced at the boys black bandana , never actually seeing one in real life making her mesmerised. "Tell you what , let's make a deal" Jide looked up as the girl spoke , his head moving to the side in a questioning way as the girl reached her hand out. "You let me wear the bandana and I'll travel wherever you want with you" the boys eyes widened but he slid his hand into the girls , giving it a small shake before taking his bandana off , standing to tie it around the girls head only for the train to jolt and the boy to tumble over the girl. "Well this is a position" the girl spoke , giving a small giggle afterwards.

Should I make this into a book?
