By the time we get back to the motel I just want to crawl into bed and sleep. I had been up for two days straight and all I wanted was some rest. As soon as we arrive, Aiden calls a nearby pizza place and give an order. He tells me it should be here within forty five minutes.

I crawl onto the bed and lean back against the headboard expecntantly. Aiden looks at me and chuckles, shaking his head. Then, he strips off and takes off into the bathroom to shower. I avert my eyes as soon as i see him lift his shirt and keep my gaze lowered until I know he has gone.

I hear the shower going while I sit in bed waiting for dinner.

Finally, after what seems like forever, there is a small knock on the door and a man holds a pizza out to me, recounting the order and how much money he needed. I hand over two twenties and tell him to keep the change before closing the door in his face. I didn't want him to get a good enough look at me, just in case.

Aiden comes out of the shower just in time and we eat in silence. Finally, with a full belly, I brush my teeth and climb into bed and under the duvets fully clothed. Aiden joins me minute afterwards, clicking the light off and crawling into bed next to me.

It feels as if I fall asleep within seconds.

The sunlight streams into our room despite the curtains being securely drawn over the window. Aiden was still fast asleep when I woke, and I decide to leave him for a little longer and take a quick shower. Even when I am done, Aiden has not roused and so I have to prode him until he finally it up and gives me a dirty look.

We get to work on our appearances, helping each other dye our hair. Aiden had decided on a strange, almost ginger colour for his own hair. It was a smart colour to choose. It was muted enough not to draw any attenton but also was completely different from his natural shade. It also suited him very well.

He helped me dye my own hair as well. Mine wa slightly more elaborate, with an almost jet black dye for my entire head of hair which was simple enough. And then, I had to complete the task of doing light brown highlights. Once we were done, hours later, we both looked signifcantly different.

Aiden had bought us the same coloured contact lens, they were a slightly dark blue. Although, his dark eyes made the blue even darker, while mine remained light. Staring at ourselves in the mirror I give myself a satisfied smile. We had finally transformed ourselves into other people.

It was afternoon by the time we were done and Aiden and I agree to check out, and treat ourselves to some lunch at a restaurant before spending a few hours on the road again. We couldn't stay in one place too long, even if we only got a few miles down the road. We still had about nineteen hours ahead of us before we got to Yellowstone.

We take our time eating lunch, savouring the bites and keeping up conversation throughout. And then, we pay and take off away.

Aiden drives this time, but we only manage a few hour before we stop off in a small town and turn in for the night. We ordered food the same as the night before and then got some sleep before getting up and starting all over again.

Barely five minutes after we leave the hotel Aiden spots a pawn shop and we decide to get rid of the items we had taken to sell what seems like a lifetime ago. It takes us all morning to unload everything from the car and barter prices. There wan't much to sell, but the sooner we got rid of it, the better. It meant less baggage, if we had to Aiden and I could shove all of our belongings in two separate bags and walk away whenever we needed to, and it meant money in our pocket, money we would need in the future.
