Easter Eggs
During this book, I hid a few Easter Eggs in the story. Did you find them? If not, don't worry. I'll spill my secrets.
•At the very beginning of this book, Hikari was shy and was scared of meeting new people. Then, as the book continues, she overcomes her shyness and makes many new friends.
•In the chapter called 'Todoroki', you first meet Aku (also known as Aku-san or Dark Cold). It never mentions his real age, but it says he looks about 19. Somewhere in this book, Hikari states her age and that Aku-san is 15 years older than her. If you did the math, you see that Aku-san is actually 30 years old.
•Also, if you have looked up Tensei's age (also known as Ingenium) you know that he is currently 31, and that him and Aku were close friends and went to school together. Even though it's a bit obvious that they were the same age and went to school together, I figured it was kind of a secret about Aku's age.
•In the chapter 'Todoroki', Hikari mentions she sees someone who looks like Bakugo but just assumes it's her eyes messing with her and that it's actually Todoroki. It actually was Bakugo, I decided that he would eavesdrop on their conversation. That's why when everyone figures out that her dad is Whiteout, Bakugo isn't crowding around her because he already knew.
•If you translate Aku's name, Aku Kazenikura, it means 'Dark Cold', his hero name. Hikari mentions this in the chapter titled 'Hero Names and Internships'. She also mentions that her name, Hikari Kazenikura, means 'Light Cold', the name she was about to use for her code name.
•In the chapter '10 Million?', there's a part near the end of the cavalry battle where Hikari sees 'a spark of red flames', but she just assumes it's Bakugo. But, it actually was Todoroki's flames. In the anime, when Midoriya reaches for Todoroki's headbands, he lights his arm on fire, then quickly stops when he realizes what he's doing. Hikari knew that Todoroki didn't use his flames and thought that it was just Bakugo trying to get the 10 million points.
•Talking through texting and on phone calls, Hikari's father is a completely different person, as you can see in the first few chapters. Then, later on, during the Sports Festival, Hikari thinks to herself, 'I liked my father when I spoke to him through text. In real life, he just made everything horrible.' If any of you were confused by that line, you now know what it means: Hikari's father is a totally different person face-to-face.
•In the chapter, 'Uniting Class 1-A', I put the song 'Lovely' by Billie Eilish and Khalid in there because it sort of conveyed what Hikari thought about her mother's quirk right then.
•In the chapter 'Bakugo', I put the song 'Paralyzed' by NF in there because I thought it explained what Hikari felt when Bakugo got taken and she thought she was the reason he got taken because she froze.
•I took Hikari's original picture from a girl named Rin Shibuya from an anime called Cinderella Girls.
•In the chapter 'Teamwork', Hikari mentions that things in her room remind her of Eri, Kaiya, and Overhaul. Her winter gloves remind her of Overhaul taking off his gloves to kill Eri. The unicorn notebook reminds her of Eri's and Kaiya's horn on their heads. Her desk chair reminds her of the chair Eri was strapped down to when Overhaul killed her. The view of the city reminded her of the buildings burning and crumbling apart in her first nightmare about Eri and Kaiya.
•In case you didn't catch whom I'm shipping with who in this book, I'll tell you. Bakugo and Hikari, Jiro and Kaminari, Todoroki and Yaoyorozu, Hagakure and Ojiro, Kirishima and Ashido, Uraraka and Midoriya, and finally Asui and Tokoyami. If you don't agree with these ships, please don't go blowing up the comments saying so. Keep it to yourself, please. I don't want to see it and no one else does either.
By the way, I don't actually ship Kiri with Mina. I ship him with Bakugo. I had to make Kiri be with someone and him and Mina are pretty close, so that's what I decided to do. I also ship Mina with Sero when Kiri's with Bakugo 💞.
About Me
I was expecting this book to be about 30 chapters, but it turned out to have 24 more chapters than what I was expecting. I really hope you enjoyed it, I tried my best and I worked really hard on this. This is my very first completed story, too, so don't blame me if its not very good.

Also, I was thinking of making another book and making this a series, but the next book would be more about Hikari and Bakugo's relationship instead of following the timeline like in this book. If you would like to read something like that go ahead and tell me, because if not I probably won't do it 😂. And I promise, it won't be a 54 part story like this one was. I hope.
