Hikari
It turned out that I passed the provisional licensing exam, so now I had a temporary license that allowed me to use my quirk. Bakugo and Todoroki were the only ones from our class that failed, and I could tell that neither of them were happy about it.
The next Monday in school, we sat in homeroom class waiting for Mr. Aizawa to come in. He was always late to class, so we always spent the extra five minutes chatting while we waiting.
As I was talking with the girls around Momo's desk, I self consciously glanced over at Bakugo's empty desk. He and Midoriya had gotten house arrest for being out of the dorms after curfew and fighting with each other. I wanted to tell Mr. Aizawa that I was there, too, but Bakugo basically pleaded me not to, so I didn't.
"Get back in your seats, everyone," Mr. Aizawa said, stepping into the room.
We all reluctantly returned to our seats and he started speaking.
"You all know that Bakugo and Midoriya are under house arrest at the dorms right now because they did not follow the rules. Principal Nezu said I should say something about that, but I don't feel like it, so make sure you follow the rules."
Then homeroom class started. Mr. Aizawa explained that those of us who received our provisional licenses would start training under pro heroes at their agencies and actually get involved with villain cases and use our quirks without breaking the law.
The rest of the day after homeroom was uneventful, and when I got back to the dorms, I was beat.
I went to my room, threw my bag down on the floor, and flopped face down on my bed, closing my eyes. Too bad school wasn't more exciting.
I didn't realize I had fallen asleep until I woke up in a dark room to loud banging on my door
"I swear, if you don't open this g** da** door, I'm gonna blast it open!" A voice shouted.
I slowly got up, went to the door, and slightly opened it. Bakugo stood there, looking angry, like always.
"Are you ever gonna eat?" He growled, his eyebrows furrowing as he shoved his hands in his pockets. "I mean, it's your choice and I honestly don't f****** care if you do."
I yawned and stepped out of my room. "Yeah, I'm coming. I was just really tired, that's all."
I went downstairs and ate dinner, although I wasn't very hungry. When I came back up to the fourth floor, Bakugo was standing outside his door, glaring at me. I ignored it and was about to walk past him when he grabbed my wrist and dragged me into his room.
"We need to change your bandages," he said with a scowl on his face, taking me into his bathroom.
I stared at his room. During the best room contest, we hadn't seen his, so now I stared in shock at how tidy his room was.
He grabbed my arm and started to unwind the gauge around it. Although he looked angry, he was being pretty careful about unwrapping it.
Eventually, about 20 minutes later, he had finished changing my bandages and I thanked him and was about to leave when he said, "Hold up, where do you think you're going?"
I stopped. "Um, back to my-"
"Don't I get a reward for helping you?" He interrupted.
I quickly leaned in and pecked him on a cheek, my face feeling hot.
"You missed," he said flatly.
I frowned. "Huh? No I didn't. I kissed you right there on your cheek."
