Hikari
Eventually, everyone began gathering ingredients to make curry. I wasn't sure how good of cooks everyone was, but it turned out everyone was pretty okay at it.
"Hikari, can you light this for us?" Mina shouted at me, waving at the fireplace she was trying to use.
I walked over, lit my hand on fire, and placed it on the wood. It immediately ignited, and I pulled my hand out.
"Thanks, Hikari, you're the best!" Mina exclaimed.
I smiled and walked back over to the counter I was using to cut vegetables. I looked over at Bakugo, who was at the other counter cutting carrots like a manic. We had avoided each other since last night, and every time I looked at him I had to push down a smile.
"Do you need help?" Midoriya asked me.
I startled, wondering how in the world he got right next to me without me noticing. I waved my hands. "Wh-what? Oh, n-no, I'm fine, thanks though," I stammered, my face burning.
He frowned. "Are you okay?"
My face reached a new level of hot. "What? Of course! I'm fine! Great! Just... cutting vegetables! For dinner! Yeah..."
I felt stupid, and Midoriya wasn't buying my story. He glanced over at Bakugo. "Is something wrong with you and Kacchan? You were, like, staring at him..."
I yelped and covered my face with my hands so he wouldn't see me blushing.. "N-no! I'm fine! I mean, we're fine! No need to worry!"
I peeked between my fingers and saw him staring at me with a concerned look on his face. He frowned a little bit. "You sure?"
I covered my eye again and bowed my head. "Y-yes, Midoriya, I'm fine! I swear! Can you like... help me? With the vegetables?"
"Uh, sure," he said slowly, and he picked up a knife and began cutting them.
I lowered my hands from my face and let out a sigh of relief. That was close. I grabbed the other knife and started cutting the vegetables again. I took a quick glance at Bakugo and saw him staring at me. Our eyes met and we both quickly looked away.
Had he seen me freaking out?
Soon, dinner was ready, and we were all sitting and eating. I was sitting in between Kyoka and Kirishima, and across from us were Sero, Mina, and Ojiro.
"Hey, Kazenikura, when'd your hair get like that?" Sero asked.
I touched a piece of my hair. "Last night. Usually I dye my hair, but I forgot my dye at home, so I just rinsed out all the dye last night in the hot spring."
"Why did you dye your hair?" Ojiro asked.
I shrugged and took a bite of food. "I don't like how it looks on me. And it makes me look too much like my brother. I didn't like that."
"Your brother?" Mina asked.
I nodded. "Do you guys know Dark Cold?"
Kirishima nodded. "He** yeah! He was 13's sidekick before a villain got him. Didn't he die?"
I laughed. "No, but he got paralyzed. Had to retire. He has white hair, so I dyed mine brown because I don't want to look like him."
"Wait, your brother's Dark Cold?" Kyoka asked.
"Yeah. My whole family seems to be some sort of pro hero, am I right?" I sighed. "I always kind of wished my family wasn't so famous."
Kaminari, who I hadn't noticed was sitting behind us at the other table, leaned back. "Are you kidding, Kazenikura? I wish my family was famous. You should be grateful."
