Chapter 5- Listen Up Asshole

A/N: I think I'm gonna change Drew's and Luke's relationship. When I mean "relationship" I meant they're not be step-brothers anymore, because I feel like it would turn into a cliché Cinderella story.

So here's the back story, Luke was a newbie during 11th grade. Drew was the new student back in grade 10 and they're in grade 12 (except for Luke, he's in 11th grade) now. Drew bullied Luke since the first day of school but Michael never noticed.

Luke's extremely smart in Math so he was moved up to 12th grade math, after spring break. Other than that everything else is the same.

Back to Michael's POV*
"Hi Luke!" I caught up with him, he walks even faster.

I groan in frustration and ran up to holding his wrist back, making him wince, "Umm Luke? We still need to start on our project" He stays silent.

"Luke you're gonna have to talk to me sooner or later," He kept dodging my eyes.

The question has been in my head since I met him, "Luke, are you a mute?" I just fucked everything up didn't I.

He finally looks up but runs the other direction, panicking. I knew I shouldn't have asked. Why do I always fuck everything up?!?!?!! Drew walks over to me, great.

"What the hell do you want?" I hiss, not in the mood to talk to him.

"Sassy aren't we? I just came over to tell you that I found out you're..." He leans into my ear, "...gay"

He can't know, "Listen up asshole, I don't know where you got that idea from, but I like girls not guys" I lie.

"Okay, whatever you say," he walks away smirking.

My eyes went wide, how could he know this? Was I that obvious? I walk around until I find Ashton.

"Did you tell anybody I was g-a-y?" I whisper the last part.

He looked really confused, "No, why?"

"Because Drew found out," I say trying not to panic, my breathes gets faster.

"Calm down, Mikey. Its gonna be okay," He soothes me.

"How?! He knows that I'm ya know!," I start panicking.

Ashton puts his hand on my shoulders, "We can't know for sure, he doesn't have any proof"

I start calming down, "Yeah, okay okay. Right, sorry"

"Its okay Mikey, I would've done the same if I were you. Only a thousand times worse," He laughs, "Come on lets go to to the library or something"

We were talking about random shit, we had free period. I leaned back on my chair, "So how was your tutor lesson?"

"Ummm we kinda skipped it," He says nervously.

I almost choke on air, "You? Skipping something?"

Ashton grins, "Yeah, we went for Starbucks. Enough about me, what about you? You like anyone?"

Again, my mind goes straight to Luke, "I don't know"

"Come on, tell me please?!" He pulls on my shirt.

"Luke," I say barely audible.

"What?" He smiles.

I say it a little louder, "I think I like Luke"

"I knew you liked Luke!" He giggles, yes, I said giggle.

I shhh him, "Say it louder, China didn't hear"

We both laugh, but suddenly stopped when I heard a clap from behind me. We both faced the direction the sound was coming from, "Thought you said you were straight, Clifford. Guess I was wrong and now I know who you like" Drew.

"Now if you don't mind, I have to find Luke," He turned around and walked out, leaving me there stunned as hell.
