Nadine Miller had to be the toughest bitch to locate.

Just when it seemed like there was a hit on her, it either ended up being a burned trail or completely false. Giving up was not a part of my plans, even though Rachel pushed me to give it a rest. She couldn't wrap her head around why it was so important to me, almost like she feared something else would unravel if I were to find Nadine.

I guess she was right to fear it because I did find her.

Remember Zayn? The insanely handsome man with a nose piercing, industrial, earrings and hand tattoo? Callum ran a background search on him to find something out about him but he was as clean as they come. He really was just someone's son, involved in this mess like me.

So, he helped me. The man knew where to look which made him very suspicious. It felt like he knew, where Nadine was. He never directly pointed anything out but he pushed me to warmer areas and so, with his guidance, I managed to locate her.

She was on the move for weeks and now, she was staying in one place. It confused me. I didn't understand why she'd be running for so long then come to a stop, as if she reached her final destination.

Regardless, I had a hit on her and the plane was bound to land soon enough.

The journey wasn't the worst. Flying private was still insane to me but I dealt with it better this time around. Harry was also keeping me company. We played all the games iMessage had to offer and we kept sending voice memos back and forth. I had to listen to them with earphones because he decided to say nasty things out of nowhere and I didn't want anyone else hearing that. The man even sent me a picture of his hand—the one with both of our matching bracelets around his wrist—gripping his cock over his Calvin Klein underwear and I swear I never wanted to block someone's number so fast.

Leaving the jet at the airport, a car picked us up and escorted us to a hotel. A few security guards came with us, even though I wasn't the biggest fan of them, still. I missed James a lot. Over time, I've grown used to him and I felt incredibly guilty for how he was pretty much put out of work because of me. I bet the man hated my guts.

My stomach was in a knot. Thinking of food, made me want to be sick. Sweat built on my palms, my body overheating. I had to sit out onto the balcony of my room to regain my normal breathing. I had no idea what to expect. Wasn't even sure she'd let me talk to her once I somehow find her. She could've been anywhere.

Almost like the man, who decided to accompany me on this trip, knew how to read minds, happened to be scrolling through mine, as a text message coming through pinged my device.

Zayn Malik: I've got her pinned down to a café nearby. Are you ready?

Letting him know I'll meet him in a second, I hovered over Harry's contact. He should've been here with me. If not because he cared about his ex, then because I selfishly needed him. Debating whether or not to call him, I decided against it. He was probably at work or maybe sleeping. House hunting, perhaps?
