The library was no doubt Cedric Diggory and Hope Lupin-Black's favorite place to be, reading endless books on magical creatures and Transfiguration charms. And especially with the First Task coming up the next day, they needed to refresh their knowledge on their favorite creature.
"Dragons, J, can you believe it?" gushed Cedric, smiling as wide as he could.
Hope nodded, flipping the page of her book. "We'll be seeing them, up close, too!"
"Too bad we can't actually interact with them." he spoke softly, his attention turning back towards his own book. "Can't just pet them one time."
"That's what we have the summer for, Ced."
Cedric nodded, before slamming the book in front of him shut. "I'm tired of studying, I know everything about Dragons. I want to know what's going on in your life?"
The Lupin-Black girl laughed lightly before shrugging. "Hermione's been a real pain the arse lately."
"I'm going to sound like Lee Jordan, but give me details."
"Well, you know I come from a very pureblood family on Dad's side." she began to explain, clearly bothered by the topic. "Which, not like that, but I understand some of the things."
The Diggory boy nodded and smirked. "Little miss Noble House of Black."
Hope only playfully rolled her eyes before continuing. "Hermione has been going on and on about how house-elves shouldn't serve and should have the same rights as wizards."
"I think Teeta would sob if we even offered--"
"That's exactly what I said about Kreacher, and how he wants his head mounted on the wall." Hope began to aggressively move things around the table. "But no, no, no. I'm awful and my beliefs are awful."
Cedric scoffed, blinking his eyes a few times. "Hasn't she gone on about how discriminating against beliefs is wrong?"
