It didn't take very long for Severus Snape to march both Hermione Granger and Hope Lupin-Black up to the Head of Gryffindor. And both girls never made eye contact with each other on the way, one out of slight fear of getting hit again, one out of pure anger.
"Miss Lupin," said Professor McGonagall, blue eyes wide. "You attacked Miss Granger?"
Hope bit her bottom lip, smirking slightly. "Attacked is a big word. I simply pushed her and my fist happened to collide with her face. How strange."
"We do not tolerate fighting at this school."
"I know." she replied, before narrowing her eyes at her former friend. "But, Granger deserved it. If it wouldn't of happened today, it would've happened another day."
Hermione's brown eyes widened quickly. "I did not deserve it."
"You insulted my family and insulted me." laughed Hope, shaking her head. "How is that not deserving it? You had it coming."
Professor McGonagall looked to the brown-eyed-girl quickly. "Miss Granger, is that true?"
"Professor, it's true. Her family is evil--"
"I will let you off with a warning, Miss Granger." the professor spoke calmly, still narrowing her blue eyes. "Now, you may go. I expect better from you."
As Hermione Granger quickly left McGonagall's office, Hope's grey eyes shot up and she started to stand up. "May I leave, Professor?"
"No, your fathers are stopping in." replied McGonagall, not looking up from her parchment. "We need to have a discussion with them, Miss Lupin."
"But Professor," started Hope, her grey eyes widened. "I don't just attack people, that's not how I am, truly."
The Potions professor only narrowed his dark eyes. "I'd like to say otherwise, Minerva--"
"Severus, she's a nice girl." she defended before letting out a sigh. "But, this is not the first time you've attacked another student. And some boys from Gryffindor have openly expressed their concern for you."
