sahar's POV
friday, 8:35 pm.

"sahar, you never wanna do anything. you literally always wanna sit in the house, and for what?" taryn continues to mumble.

"no ones stopping you from going by yourself, but go off i guess." i say putting my attention back onto my phone.

"you're so rude." she says whining.

i look at her and laugh. "you have other friends, don't you?"

"that's not the point! you're dumb."

i shut my phone off and sit it down besides me. "i'm way to socially awkward, you and i both know that. ill probably just be standing in the corner or something. plus you know i'm always busy."

"busy doing what exactly? you don't have a job"

i give her an amused look. "neither do you love, we done here?"

"no, okay hear me out. if you go to this birthday party with me, i won't ask you to go anywhere again for seven months."

"why such a specific number?"

"i don't know, please?" taryn says, looking at me hopefully.

"fine." i say giving in.

"yessss!" she says excitedly. "okay so we have to be there by 8:30 tomorrow night okay?"

"mhmm" i say giving her a fake smile.

i go back onto my phone and end up finding a youtube video to watch until i fall asleep.

saturday, 11:57

as soon as i wake up i roll my eyes remembering that i have to go to this stupid party.

i quickly brush my teeth and wash my face before walking out into the living room to see taryn sitting on the coach eating cereal.

"good morninggg." i say to her.

"morning ugly." she says back.

i go towards the kitchen and grab a bowl and the cereal of my choosing.

"are you ready for today?" she says in a happy tone.

"yea, i guess" i say.

her face drops. "be happy"

"oh my god, i can't wait to go to the party!" i say in a fake excited tone.

she looks away and goes back to what she's doing while i began eating my cereal.

"wanna go on a run in a bit?" i question.

i see her thumb fly up in the air and i nod my head.

6:52 pm.

we just got back from our run and it takes us a while because we usually like to get smoothies then sit at the park for a bit.

"what time is it?" taryn asks me.

"six-fifty two" i say.

"six-fifty two?! i have to go get ready" she says running towards her bathroom.

i laugh and walk towards my room to pick out clothes and get ready to get in the shower.
