im sitting on sahar's couch as she takes a nap in her room. her sister nessia left like ten minutes ago to hang out with her boyfriend so im just sitting here alone.
i hear the door open behind me so i look over and see sahar wearing my shirt. it's really long on her but it looks cute.
"hi mama." i say smiling at her.
she rubs her eyes."hi."
sahar stands there and stares at me for a couple minutes. "you okay?" i ask her.
"my tummy hurts." she says quietly.
i laugh. "your tummy?" i ask.
"yea." she says before stretching.
"come here." i say.
she walks over to me slowly and when she reaches me, she lays her head on my lap.
i play with her hair while her eyes close
she says something but i can't hear her. "huh?" i ask.
"i love you." she says up looking at me.
a smile makes its way on my face. "i love you too." i tell her.
and she smiles at me before looking back down.
"i have really bad cramps." she says.
"are you on your period?" i ask and she nods. "do you need anything?"
"can you get me some ice cream?" she asks.
"what kind?" i ask.
"the kind with mini peanut butter cups in it." she says.
"okay, that's it?" i ask and she nods.
"okay im gonna go, ill be back in like fifteen minutes okay?" i say.
"baby," she says. "you can't go by yourself, you don't have a security guard with you." she says, looking back up at me.
"ill just take something from your closet so they won't notice me." i tell her.
"okay." she says.
i kiss her forehead one last time. "get up." i say and she moves her head before laying it back down on the couch.
i get up and quickly change into some of sahars clothes before grabbing my car keys and walking out of the door.
when i make it to the store, i keep my hood low so that way no one can see me and i grab her ice cream quickly. i also grab her a few more things like a lemonade, cool ranch doritos, starburst, and oreos. when im done i go to the register.
