sahar's POV
a few weeks later..
12:38 pm.

incoming call from nessia...

"hello?" i say, my voice sounding scratchy from being awoken out of a deep slumber.

"sahar!" she yells.

"whatt?" i ask, annoyance laced in my tone.

"did you see billies interview?!" she asks loudly.

"for one stop yelling and for two no because i was fucking sleeping." i say to her. "and i don't even watch her interviews."

she goes quiet for a moment. "sorry."

i don't say anything. "go watch the interview."

"oh my god, why?" i say.

"just do it!" she says.

a loud sigh leaves my lips. "what do i look up?" i ask.

"billie eilish same interview ten minutes apart." she says.

i look at my phone and turn up my brightness slightly which causes me to wince.

i go on youtube and look up what she tells me to look up. "alright what now?" i say.

"skip to three o three, and then press play." she says so i do just that.

"what am i thinking about? um." billie looks down but then looks back up. "how im being ignored by the one person i don't wanna be ignored by." she smiles and laughs after saying that.

"you called me for that?" i say.

"yes! she's definitely talking about you." nessia says.

"i doubt it, do you know how many people that girl knows?" i say.

"yea but think about it. she texted you like two weeks ago and you have yet to answer her. it's about you." nessia says.

"even if it is, what do you want me to do about it?" i question.

"nothing i just thought it was funny." she says.

i roll my eyes. "bye nessia, i love you."

"i love you too." she says before hanging up.

after she hangs up i find myself watching that part of the interview over and over again, and watching the full thing after that.

should i text her back? i don't know. do i wanna get my heart broken again? no. i mean we could just be friends though so maybe i will.
