Whilst Ying finished her tasks, she moved to the main room of the Medical Unit, "Everything is set-up!" Ying spoke in the Mop language, earning a smile from the head doctor, "Thank you, Commodore, thanks to your help, the med-unit is functional again." The Head Doctor said, amazed as Ying chuckled as she approached the mop-alien, unzipping her white-jumpsuit that kept her from contaminating any of the medical supplies she'd transferred. The alien asked, "How do you know the procedures anyway, Ma'am." Ying returned the suit as the alien retrieved it, seeing her sheepish grin, "Actually I studied medicine when I was in my Planet, some things never changed regardless of their names and methods." Ying stated.
The Head Doctor was amazed, hoping to learn about medicine on Earth when they had time as she'd needed to report to the Admirals, bidding a cheerful goodbye to the Doctor as she headed out, speeding off to the temporary office of the Admirals.
She'd walked by some agents, hearing a faint bit of gossip whilst using her powers. Her eyes widened when she heard, 'Sir Amato and Boboiboy argued?' She stopped for a moment in the middle of the halls, earning some glances from the agents who'd gotten surprised to see her figure come out of a blur, "Everything okay, ma'am?" One agent inquired as she slightly jolted, turning to nod, giving a smile as she turned her heels, speeding off to the office. Before the door, she knocked, not hearing anyone behind the door responding after a couple of knocks.
Ying peeked her head inside the room, seeing the empty room as she pouted. She'd moved back only to hear some shuffling, making her enter, moving towards the desk as she'd soon caught a glimpse of a figure slumped behind one of the many file cabinets. Her eyes widened as she rushed over, soon realizing the figure was sleeping.
Her racing heart loosened, moving cautiously towards him as she bent down, leveling with the male, seeing his face scrunched up panting as his head slightly tilted, "H-help..." He murmured, his hands unconsciously clawing on his own clothes, making her reach over, having enough of the sight–the repetitive sight.
The sudden movement alarmed Fang, jolting awake as he stared towards Ying, eyes slightly glossy as her worried expression dawned on him, making him clear his throat as he sniffled, trying to brush off what she might've seen as his lips formed a small smile, "Hey, I didn't hear you come in." He uttered, getting up as he gently pulled her up with him, but her eyes never ceased to stare at him. He looked to the side, "I'm sorry, I was just tired from the paperwork. And Boboiboy's situation had spread–"
"Fang."
The single mention of his name snapped him out of his rambling, turning to Ying who faced him with a hardened gaze, pressing her lips together. "I'm sorry, I was just–" Fang was surprised when Ying took his hand, stepping close as there was barely a few inches between them, making him stare down to her bright-blue orbs. "We need to talk about this... I can't anymore." She uttered.
Ying was surprised when Fang let out a shaky breath, apologies sputtering out of his mouth, "I'm sorry, please, don't leave me. I'm sorry whatever I did... Please don't leave me, Ying–please." He begged, looking down at their intertwined hands, he ushered it to his chest. "Don't leave me, not you—please." "Laopo." She spoke over his rambling, gently letting go of his hands to cup his cheeks into her hands, eyes filled with worry as Fang's eyes brimmed with tears.
"I'm not leaving. No one is... I'm talking about this reaction. Why are you suddenly saying sorry, why are you afraid of me leaving for no mistake of your own... Why are you acting so scared?" Ying voiced out, speaking in a softer tone to gauze out her husband's headspace, knowing it was sensitive at that moment. He looked at her, tears slowly falling as he said, "I don't know... but it just happens..."
She knew by then what he meant. He was cracking, he finally cracked out of whatever shell he'd built throughout the years, the shell that made him who he is to Ying. "My dad said I couldn't measure up to my brother... he told me my mother wouldn't love me... then my village was attacked and everything was so distant... and... and I felt weak..." Fang whimpered out, tears falling from his eyes.
"I'm scared of being alone... I feel weak when I'm alone..." He uttered, leaning close to Ying's touch, "I need you next to me, Ying..." He added, eyes fluttering shut as he sobbed, making Ying huff a breath, her eyes stinging as she moved to hug him, hearing him apologize, "I'm sorry that you had to see this... I don't want to think about it... but whenever I see Boboiboy–I just see myself sometimes... and it haunts me–" Ying pulled back, gently pressing her pointed finger atop his lips, hushing him as she moved it away.
She gently wiped away some of his tears, cradling one of his cheeks, "I never asked you to be some powerful guy... you just were." She said, making his eyes flutter open, seeing her slightly glossy eyes beneath her spectacles, "I never thought you were weak... sure there are some times we are... but it's not bad to feel weak," Confusion riddled his face as he asked what she meant. She beamed a smile, "Whatever those flaws are... I'm sure they aren't real. You are really strong and so is your brother... and so am I. It's not just you, but us. It's We. you don't need to be alone, because you're scared of these things, they aren't even true." She stated, seeing Fang's eyes still tearing up, but lesser.
"I love everything about you... and I stand by your side no matter what, not because of all those superficial qualities" His eyes widened at her words, gently reaching for her waist to pull her close as she stared at him, a single tear fell from her eyes, "Because I love you for being you–everything about you is something I treasure." She reassured, earning a light chuckle and smile from Fang, making him lean close to connect their foreheads.
They stared at each other, his ruby-orbs dawned before her blue-orbs. "I'll be here to reassure you everyday even if you get sick of me." She said, livening his mood, earning a smile as he leaned to press a passionate kiss on her lips, only pulling back for air as he stared down on her, "I don't think I'll ever get sick of you, laopo." She chuckled, gently wiping the remnants of his tears away.
Fang kept his gaze on her face, loving everything about her, but that moment, she seemed so enchanting–so perfect that it was hard to pinpoint what her allure is. The only words inside his mind during that moment, 'I'll love you for as long as I live, Ying Yinan...'
