14 - Uncharted Mind -

Boboiboy walked within the large castle-like building, seeing the lore stairwell to one of the towers when the thunders outside grumbled louder, hitting the room of the building as Boboiboy held his ground from the shaking ground, hearing some yells, he looked up to see some armored men fall. 'What the....' He thought as he huffed a breath, lifting his wrist to his face, accessing Wind, he used a burst of air to fling his figure upwards, dodging the falling enemies as he landed on the steps, soon seeing a scary sight of Lightning, his brown orbs giving off anger.

"Lightning?" He called, but the element looked at him confusedly, pointing the tip of the blade he held to him, prepared to shoot him with lightning when Boboiboy threw on one of the nearby shields and moved to the lightning element, somehow defending against his attack until Lightning used his speed to go behind the original version.

Boboiboy threw the shield off the edge as he clapped down on the lightning blade, screaming in pain as both figures were alarmed by flooding memories in their head, Boboiboy recalled several times he remained in his room, crying to be let out but his father confiscated his power-watch, his hatred for sleeping alone in his room rooted from the experience as Boboiboy pushed his sword away, seeing the terrified gleam of the lightning-element, about to move away when Boboiboy heaved a breath, holding himself due to pain, uttering, "I'm sorry... that you had to be alone... I didn't even know." Lightning looked at him wide-eyed, his anger slowly subsiding as the weather outside calmed down.

Boboiboy looked up at him, giving a small yet defeated smile, but their epiphany didn't last long when they heard loud screams from above, alarmed as Lightning grabbed his arm and pulled him along, heading for one of the halls nearby, they heard the screams of agony become closer, turning the corner, Boboiboy gasped, cupping his mouth to see Fire chained and surrounded by the same guards that Lightning attacked, pointing spears and slashing him like a form of sadistic amusement. The original version asked, facing him, "Is that why you..." "I was trying to save him." Lightning stated with a worried expression, "Well, we better get him back." They rushed towards the guards, Bobobioy using the elements he retrieved as Lightning slashed them, some getting thrown out of the window as a well-placed lightning strike.

Boboiboy rushed to remove Fire from the chained pedestal, holding him by him as he saw Fire's exhausted gleam, staring back at him. "Stay awake... I'm here, buddy." Boboiboy spoke, trying to keep Fire up as the fire-element pressed his lips, leaning on his shoulder, a orange-gleam emitting from his eyes as Boboiboy saw a conflicting sight, scared when he saw a darkened room a sharp item on the ground as a younger version of himself was weeping in the corner, 'When... when did this–' A hand was held on his shoulder, looking up to see Lightning with a slightly shaking head, making Boboiboy turn to see Fire, gently cradling him, "Was it scary?" Fire looked up towards him.

Boboiboy smiled, "You didn't need to be alone... I don't want you to get hurt for me anymore... just know that." He spoke, comforting the fire-element as he slowly teared up, sniffling with a clumsy smile, "Do you want to come home with us? Again, both of you?" He inquired as Lightning gave a slight smile, nodding as Fire said, "Let's go..." The floor beneath their feet swarming with symbols of red and orange, soon letting the two elements disappear as their symbol returned to his watch.

He glanced to the symbols on his feet alarmed when they shifted to the stone crevices on the ground moving towards the hall as the unlit torches on the walls sporadically burst into flame, lighting his path, he muttered a thanks as he followed the path, seeing there were several rooms ahead, but one door across the room lit up with weird symbols. He was surprised to hear a loud chime of clock in the distance, on the third chime, he looked to his hand, feeling a faint numbness as he stood alarmed, 'Wait... do I have a time limit here? Damn it!' He ran into the room, widened to see multiple strange creatures inside it to see a familiar element.

The creatures growled, some roaring fire out of their mouths as Boboiboy saw his light-element silently reading through his books, using his finger like lasers, pushing off the enemies as Boboiboy dodged the falling creatures, but surprised when each step he took closer to the element, memories flushed in his head, the times he scoured his room to study, trying to rework notes and be the best to achieve some recognition from his father but he never once responded anymore.

Boboiboy stood there frozen when he was soon face to face with the light-element, pulling him back as one of the creatures roared a large fireball, Boboiboy huffed a breath, looking up to see the annoyed glare of the element as Bobobioy looked like a lost lamb in his library. "What do you want? I'm busy–O-oi..." Light uttered, putting the book away to the side to see Boboiboy sniffling with tear-brimmed eyes, "You sure do work hard... but you already amazing." Boboiboy uttered, giving him a sheepish smile, Light alarmed by his words, scratching the back of his nape, "I owe you one... for making me a better version of myself albeit you we were forced—"

Boboiboy was shocked when Light grabbed the back of his collar, pulling him out to the balcony, throwing him down. The brunet was in shock when there were glowing orbs following him down, his watch shining as he heard, 'I don't like emotional talks, idiot.' He scoffed, seeing a large explosion erupt from the balcony, smirking as he turned to see that he'd collide with the ocean, thinking, 'So he's the only one from the first guys...' He covered his nose, colliding with the ocean waters.

His eyes were widened when a large whale came towards him, but when it passed through him with its blue spectral, he flippantly tried to swim up but caught a glimpse of a strange memory, his hands in-front of him trying to reach for a familiar man, seeing him stiffen his back before continuing to walk away. 'He left...' He thought, tears in his eyes mixing with water, 'why did he...' there was a heavy shift in the waves that prompted him to hold himself but saw an icy ship on the seabed.

He swam towards it, trying to reach it as he was feeling his lungs giving out, exhaustion erupting from the long swim when he saw a figure on the ship, sleeping on the deck as he thought, 'of course...' He rushed towards him when suddenly the figure woke up looking up at him alarmed as he stood up, seeing that he was tied by a rope to the steering wheel. Using his free hand, Water had slashed the area before Boboiboy into paving an air pocket, Boboiboy propping on the ground as he caught out some of the water he swallowed, the water-element giving him an analytic gaze beneath the lazy gaze.

"You won't be able to stay here. I can't keep that air pocket for long." Water spoke, his voice echoing as he was still in water, Boboiboy panted, stumbling up to see the element with a confused gaze, "What did we do then?" He inquired, Water glancing to the side with pressed lips, "We cried. All you need to know is that I kept you calm." Water stated, giving him a bored expression, "That's a relief..." He muttered as Water had seen his bright expression, showing him cock his fist to the open air, showing his wrist watch, "You've been an awesome help in keeping me calm when painful memories arose... thanks for helping me, Water." He voiced, earning an enigmatic smile from the element.

With a brief moment, the area shifted, the water that was seemingly cut in half for Boboiboy gushing back in as Water's figure disappeared, the ensnared lines of blue crawling towards him, returning to his watch as his body was flung into the air, coughing to see that he'd arrived on a sandy shore that had a beautiful garden a few steps from it whilst there was a demeaning fortress before him, making him sigh, nodding, getting up to his feet.

"Where are you, Metal, Eclipse... and Shadow."
