Epilogue
As Boboiboy and Brianna cleaned around Tok Aba's home, the elder helped maintain some of the food in the kitchen, setting up extra seats for the guests as Yanni and Yaya were finishing up cooking and baking. Brianna used her lightning abilities, quickening the process as she rushed back to her father' side, Boboiboy stifling a chuckle to see some of her hair sprung up, "Maybe tying your hair up will avoid this from happening, pumpkin." He spoke, gently grabbing her hair-tie from her wrist as he tied her hair, making her chuckle, "Sorry, dad, I'm still getting used to it, hehe~" Brianna spoke.
"At least you train somewhere rather than breaking my backyard." Tok Aba spoke as he entered the living room, seeing it practically spotless as Brianna chuckled to see her father's sheepish grin. "Did you set up the tree, honey?" Yaya asked from the kitchen as the father-daughter duo looked towards the brightly lit tree on the corner of the room, "We did, mom!" Brianna spoke as she walked towards the kitchen.
Tok Aba stared at his grandson, feeling a sense of proudness as he glanced at the picture frame on the wall of Boboiboy during his wedding, when they were complete. "You okay, Atok?" Boboiboy asked as the elder scoffed, "Why wouldn't I be? I'm just getting old and sentimental now, hah!"
There was some shuffling by the door, hearing the doorbell ring before the door cracked open, revealing Daniel, Amato and Belle, beaming with a smile. "There you are! Yaya is nearly finishing up the preparations herself~" Tok Aba voiced, making Belle gasped, "What!? Oh goodness, Yaya!" She paid respect to the elder before rushing to the kitchen, Amato sitting on one of the chairs as Boboiboy sat across from him, giving a concerned gaze, the older laughed, "I'm not dying. I got checked back at the station." Amato expressed, earning a light smack on the head from Tok Aba, Daniel snickering at his uncle getting in-trouble, "You and your reckless behavior, you had to pass that down to my grandson." Tok Aba interjected, seeing Amato slightly laugh, massaging the back of his head.
There was a somber silence between the father-son duo until Boboiboy smiled, "I hope you don't ruin Christmas, dad." "Now what in god's name does that mean?"
"Don't hog the food, Gopal!"
As Fang exclaimed from the kitchen, Shielda, concerned as Belle told her to not mind them, asking about Sarah who was cradled into Belle's arms, comfy. "Is she healthy? I've never seen such a small baby before, but she is heavy." "The doctor said that she's fine, it's because of my blood, apparently I was also like that when I was a child according to some." Shielda stated, making Belle in-awe, cooing at the drowsy baby sucking on her bottle.
"She's really small, it scares me to hold her sometimes." Sai stated, drinking some of the wine offered by Yaya as Belle chuckled, "That's normal, Boboiboy cried the first time he held Yanni." "Did he now?" Sai spoke, surprised as he sort of figured, seeing it first hand when Shielda and Gopal wept during Sarah's birth.
Yurika was playing with Brianna, both interested in seeing how many marshmallows they can fit in their mouth, Faze beside his mother whilst Yanni was eating by the dining table, ignoring Gopal's hogging as he was focused on tasting the food. "Sorry for the late arrival!" Hannah greeted as Boboiboy came beside her, picking them up alongside Kaizo and Kahana, the rest greeting each other as Kaizo beamed a small yet polite bow to Amato, still somehow treating him a superior despite being the same rank.
"Now that everyone is here, can we take a picture?" Sai spoke out, everyone agreeing as Gopal was pulled to the main room, everyone taking spots in the cramped space, crowding around Tok Aba. Sai set the camera, rushing back as they heard it beep for a few seconds, "Say Merry Christmas!" "Merry Christmas!" They cheered, the room somehow livened up as people took to eating, some wine and some games as Yanni and Faze's competitive spirits riled to see who can win in their mobile game. "Everything is relative." Yaya stated, making Boboiboy and Fang stifle a laugh, recollecting their rivalry.
"Laopo?" Fang turned to Ying, seeing she had something behind her, Yaya internally squealing as she knew what it was, making the two males nervous, "I'll be giving you my present early. Here, merry christmas." She spoke in a small but adoring tone, Fang returning her greetings as he took the box, unwrapping it as he saw a small plastic bag, he gently removed the bag as his eyes widened, Boboiboy peering in as he gasped. Fang grabbed the picture as he stared at the image, black-and-white as he looked up at Ying, seeing her cheeks dusted pink, he rushed to hug her as she yelped, earning the attention of the room when Fang spun her around.
"Are we really?" She hummed to his question, making him let out a laugh, "I'm too happy, I feel like I'm going to cry." He spoke, slowly letting her go as he showed the ultrasound picture to the room, eliciting gasps and cheers, "My wife's pregnant!" He yelled, earning a light embarrassed smack on the side from Ying as they congratulated her, everyone lifting a toast with different non-alcoholic drinks to Ying, their chatters spreading about as Boboiboy felt a bit dizzy, stepping out for a bit to the backyard, huffing a breath to the cold breeze as he sat on the steps.
His eyes widened when a can of beer was hovered by his face, looking up to see Amato, earning an amused grin as he took the can, the older sitting by him, a few inches away. "What's gotten you to step out, dad?" "Nothing... I saw you and I found myself coming over here." Amato answered, staring at the slightly worn fencing around his childhood home, Boboiboy smirking, cracking the beer open, seeing it slightly fizzle out. "I'm happy today. I just figured out why." Amato uttered, looking down to his drink, taking a swig as Boboiboy glanced towards him, humming for him to continue.
"I finally get to call you my son, again... Your mother said I looked like the world gave my everything when I stepped on the front-lawn." Amato stated, hissing at the bitter taste of the beer, making Boboiboy smile, nodding, "Yaya said I tend to cry when I feel too happy... and my elements go out. Yesterday, when I invited you, you might've not realized, but Twilight was the one who spoke." Boboiboy expressed, glancing to the side to see his father wearing a surprised yet glad smile, the older asked, "Did it feel good to call me dad?" Boboiboy snickered, putting his can up towards him, "It felt awesome, dad." He stated, both clinking their cans as they downed a shot.
Boboiboy stared off to the sky when Amato stood, fiddling with something in his pocket before throwing it towards the male, he caught it with a hand to show a weird chip. Amato smiled, "It's my gift to you... and all the versions of you. It disarms Ochobot's control over regressing your elements." Amato explained, seeing Boboiboy's eyes widened, looking between him and the chip. His eyes widened when Amato ruffled his head, "Earth, Wind, Lightning, Fire, Water, Leaf, Light, Redmoon, Iron and Dark," beaming a grin as he added, "Merry Christmas." Boboiboy sniffled, looking down as Amato knelt down to hug him, hearing Boboiboy uttered, "Thanks... Merry Christmas to you too, dad."
"I hope we spend it again next year."
