On one hand, I was sad to not go to Hogsmeade. On the other, I didn't really care, and I was not in the mood to walk around a cold city all day. I waved goodbye to the others as they left with promises to bring me sweets. That would definitely be nice.

I spotted Harry heading to his common room and decided to head to the library. I had work to do after all, and I couldn't just sit around moping all day. I was almost to the library when I overheard Harry and Filch talking.

I stopped in my tracks and waited for Filch to retreat before joining Harry. "Where are you going?" I asked.

"Owlery," Harry responded.

I grumbled something about attacking owls and was about to excuse myself when Lupin stepped out of one of the rooms. "Harry? Victoria? What are you doing?" Lupin said, "Where are Ron and Hermione?"

"Hogsmeade," Harry responded, sounding kind of glum.

"Ah," Lupin said. He looked at us for a minute before offering, "Why don't you come in? I've just taken delivery of a grindylow for our next lesson."

I was about to decline for doing homework when Harry nodded. We both went inside, and I smiled at the grindylow. "You will release it when you're done right?" I asked.

"Of course, Victoria. The lake seems a very good place for this creature."

I nodded and sat down as Lupin made us tea. We both sipped on it as he talked to Harry. Harry asked him about stopping him from facing the boggart.

"Well," Lupin said, frowning slightly, "Not only did I not want a repeat of what happened with your sister," I blushed at that, "I also assumed that if the boggart faced you, it would assume the shape of Lord Voldemort."

That was actually rather smart. Him and Harry continued talking, and I pulled out an essay for potions. It was on a potion that was massively advanced for us. We had to research whatever potion we chose and do a full report on it. I had chosen the potion that stopped the effects of being a werewolf. It fascinated me that werewolves didn't seem as, I don't know, hard to kill as they did in greek mythology.

There was a knock at the door, and Snape showed up with the exact potion I had been currently writing about. Snape talked to Lupin before peering over my shoulder at my essay. "Pick a different potion, Miss. Potter, or I will be forced to give you no points on your assignment."

I didn't understand why. Was it because Lupin was a werewolf? I couldn't do the potion because it hit to close to home. I crumbled up the essay and tossed it as Snape left.

Thats when it hit me. Lupin was a werewolf. Gods, I actually liked him. Maybe he wasn't a bad werewolf. I'd still have to tell everyone though.

For right now though, I needed to get back to my common room and rest. I knew I looked bad, stumbling out of Lupin's office. I felt bad honestly, but I guessed fatigue and nausea were about to go back to being a daily occurrence with this whole, you're being poisoned again, but we can't get rid of the pain because it's technically just a phantom. Yeah, I was loving this year so much.
