Chapter 15

"Special Guess"

***GINA's POV***

Holiday was over. We are on our meeting on how we can raise some funds for our upcoming school festival. Other students suggested having a mini concert. But we can't do that since BOYFRIEND are prohibited to have a public performance. Even the last show on our festival has been removed. "How about we do a contest?" The school secretary Anla suggested. "If well do those then we will just waste money to give away prices?" Pres said while her head rested on the table. The others mumble something. "I know guys you are all tired because we are her for almost five hours now. If you want to go it fine. If you want to stay, then just stay." After Boseok said that half of the student council officers went out. Only the vice president which is Kangdae, the secretary Anla and the treasurer Mishi left. Chineun and I we are not a member of the student council. We are here because we are one of the organizers for the school festival.

"I suggest we stick to the plan. Let’s have a mini concert." I broke the silence. "Are you sure about this? We only have a week to prepare." Kangdae spoke. "Yes I am. Just think positive Kangdae." I assured her. "If we are having a mini concert, then who will perform?" BOYFRIEND can't and no one is willing to participate here in our school." Mishi frowned after saying that sentence. "We can ask another artist to do that for us." Chineun eonnie thought. "Who?" Boseok stood from her position. "Let’s ask for help. I know they can help us." I suggested again. "I'll just think of another plan." Boseok sat lazily on her chair. Her big ego strikes again. That pride of her is not so useful this time. Anla the student council secretary noted all the possible plans that we can do. Many ideas came up but we need a lot of man power to do that. So we all push my idea to have a mini concert. What I need to do now is to talk and ask Boyfriend for help.

We all disperse after the meeting. I beg to Chineun that to go on without me. I went up to check on CL if she’s finish cleaning the practice room. I saw her talking to Donghyun and Jeongmin oppa. CL saw me and she waved at me. So the two guys looked at my direction and they both gave me sweet smiles. My heart started to beat fast unknowingly who made that. CL ran to my direction. "Gina what brings you here?" She grinned. "Well I don’t know too." Honestly I went here because I want to talk to Donghyun seonsaengnim. "Yah! I know you. You won’t leave Chineun if it is not important." She whisper shouted. "Okay, okay you got me. I want to talk to Donghyun seonsaengnim. Pres really needs their help. You see...” I explained everything to CL. "I’ll see what I can do." CL walks towards to Donghyun and Jeongmin oppa. I could only see their facial reactions from where I am standing. They do some nod and the two boys will stare each other like they are communicating using their minds.

Then Donghyun was marching his feet to me. "Hi Gina! We loved to help you on your problem." I sigh I think this is not going anywhere. "Jeongmin said that he will try to call Ljoe and ask if they could help us." Finally a good news. I was so happy that I almost kissed Donghyun on the lips. I got shocked when my lip touches his cheeks I think he was too. The two people from a far were surprise also. My jaw drop and I cupped it immediately. "I..... I'm sorry." I stuttered because I was too nervous and my heart won't want calm down.

"It’s... okay." He looked away and I looked down. I felt something tapped on my head so I tilted to check what it was. It was his hand. "We will confirm it to you if they’ll help us." I nodded and plastered a smile. I hope they will. I wished.

I received the news that I have been waiting for and Jeongmin said that Teentop will help us make a fund raising by doing a mini concert. I relayed the news to Boseok and Kangdae. "Are you sure about this?" Kangdae walk back and forth. "Yes it is. Jeongmin seonsaengnim already talked to them and their manager is also willing to help us." I said in a thrilling voice. "This is weird. I mean why are they helping us?" Boseok's negativity. "Eonnie, let's just say that they are doing this to help their students who are indire need to have money for their upcoming school festival." Kangdae is the only student who can talk to Boseok like that but still I know Kangdae is still afraid of Boseok. "Yeah right!" Boseok answered her in a sarcastic tone. 

"Since you are the organizer of this said event I will just let you do this. Actually I don't want to agree with this concert because Boyfriend helps us. I mean I... don't ugh. I just trust you and Chineun that's why I acknowledge it." Pres said without even looking at me. I can sense that she is against it. 

After how many days of hardship finally I saw them smile. Chineun and I worked on the tickets. Anla and Mish planned for the program and the set up. "Do you want some drink?" I asked Chineun sited next to me. We are currently on a mission to sell all the tickets today. "Sure. Do you have?" She asks. "I don’t but I will buy in the cafeteria." Chineun rolled her eyes and damn I know why she did that. She's a lil annoyed. I know her habits anyway. "I'll just buy now." I turned my back and make my way to the cafeteria. I brought a can of two cola and when I am paying for them someone already paid them for me. "Omo! Donghyun seonsaengnim." I bowed to him and I gave him the money that was supposed to be the payment for the drinks. "My treat." He said in a cool way. I can sense that my cheeks are going to become red soon so I bowed again and I ran away from him. I pants and I composed myself before I face Chineun.

"Here is your cola." I handed it to her. "Thanks. Oh by the way our tickets are sold out." She gave me a huge smile. "What?! Really?? Seriously??? But how???" I asked her frantically. As I remember before I went to buy some drinks there are still hundreds of tickets in the booth. I'm glad they are all sold out. "I don't know either but when you go to buy our drinks some students bought a lot of tickets. Most are girls. I guess they are fans of Teentop." She joyfully stated.

We had two more days to prepare for the venue. Since we are expecting to have a huge audience we used the school auditorium to have our event. Boyfriend helps us to decorate the stage. Our music teachers Donghyun, Hyunseong and Jeongmin are always there to assist us. Then after class the maknae will also join us. I rarely see Boseok and Kangdae because they are busy with their own project which is the school festival. It's a big pressure on their part since the students here in our school think the opposite way. I mean our pres and vice pres always think of how they will manage and keep our school dignity. But the students here always drag the school down. 

The day has come and the concert is starting in less than a minutes. Teentop are preparing to come out the stage. Boyfriend supported us since they are their friends specially Jeongmin he is close to Ljoe. As expected many students attended the gig and the good thing was that we hired enough security to ensure the safety of the artist and staff. Its okay we already make income for the school festival so for short we had enough now.

The event started and the crowed enjoyed the presentation. Teentop are also great but we hope BOYFRIEND could show their talents too... All in the entire concert was a success... We all benefit from the event and we made some new friends with the idol group TEENTOP.
