Chapter 26

(Readers POV)

Everyone was looking at me and Yang.

Emerald: Where is Cinder?!

(Y/N): Died.

The bad guys were shocked to hear this news.
Me and Yang got back with our team.

Ruby: Are you two ok?

Yang: We're fine. I got the Relic.

Weiss: Good job.

I looked at the enemies and Emerald had tears in her eyes.

(Y/N): Don't tell me you actually miss Cinder. If you stay here, I might take you to her.

She looked at me with rage. She started to scream and a black mist started to come from her. I'm guessing she is using her semblance on me.

Ruby: Whats up with the black mist?

Jaune: What black mist?

Ruby can see it too, but not Jaune? I looked at Yang and Weiss and it looked like they could see it too. A figure started to form. It was a woman with pure white skin and wearing a black dress. The woman started to scream at us.

(Y/N): Is that Salem?

The woman launched herself at us. I jumped from the sudden launch towards me. I shook my head and saw that Emerald passed out. Hazel picked her up and broke a some of the wall. Him and Mercury ran out and escaped.

Yang: Hey (Y/N). I could really use a hand.

She smirked at me. I sighed from her joke and walked up to her arm. I picked it up and walked up to Yang. She was still holding the Relic, so I put it on her myself.

Yang: Thanks (Y/N).

I snickered.

Yang: Whats so funny?

She looked at her arm and saw that I put it on backwards.

Yang: Ruby, hold this.

She handed Ruby the Relic and looked at me. She started to run at me. I quickly started to run away from her.

Yang: You get back here and put my arm on properly!

(Y/N): Can't you do it yourself?

Yang: I want you to do it!

(Y/N): You're going to need to pin me down.

I think I picked a poor choice of words, because Yang tackled me to the floor. I looked up at her and she smirked. I blushed and looked away. She took off her arm.

Yang: Now do it right this time.

I took her arm and put it on correctly. She moved it around and got off of me.

Yang: Thank you.

I got up and didn't look at her.

Qrow: Well, we should be going now.

(Y/N): Where are we going?

Qrow: We are going to take a train to Atlas, but that can wait. I think we earned ourselves a little break.

Qrow leaned to me.

Qrow: Girlfriend huh?

I blushed and quickly looked over at Ruby. She was holding her scroll and was showing everyone something. She noticed I was looking at her and she put away her scroll. She started to whistle and act all casual. Qrow put his hand on my shoulder.

Qrow: Calm down. I'm not going to tease you like Ruby. Just take care of my niece.

I gave him a nod. He walked away from me and Yang.

Yang: What do you want to do?

(Y/N): Go home. Today has been an eventful day.

Yang: I like that idea. I'm getting pretty tired.

Yang extended her arms at me.

Yang: Carry me.

I crossed my arms and scoffed.

(Y/N): You can walk yourself.

Yang started to give me puppy eyes. I sighed and caved in.

(Y/N): Alright, fine.

Yang celebrated and kissed my cheek. She jumped up in my arms. She warped her arms around my neck and snuggled into me.

Yang: Thanks. You are the nicest boyfriend.

(Y/N): Whatever.

I walked past the group. Ruby pulled out her scroll. I glared at her and she putted it away.

(Y/N): We are heading back at the house.

Ruby: Ok, just be careful.

I walked out the building and noticed some news helicopters. Some news reporters ran up to me.

News reporter: Excuses me sir. Can we ask you some questions about what happened here?

(Y/N): Get out of my way.

I walked past them. They still tried to ask questions, but I ignored them.

Yang: You're not going to answer their questions?

(Y/N): This is our time. I'm not going to let anyone distract me from you.

Yang started to blush. She smiled at me and kissed me on the lips.

Yang: You really are a real softy.

(Y/N): I'm not a softy. I just love you.

Yang: Whatever you say.

She giggled. I blushed and looked away.

Yang: I love you too.
